The next few days were terrifying for Lu Han as he kept his promise of visiting Xiuzhen everyday. Her time limit was reminding Lu Han his own fear of death back when he first lost his eyesight, and the fact that he was witnessing a near-death situation through sounds rather than sight was scaring him even more. Xiuzhen's medication doses gradually increased as her coughs became heavier. There were a few times when her breathing hitched, and the nurse would calm Lu Han down by explaining to him that it was normal for patients with coronary artery disease. Nevertheless, Lu Han could sense that Xiuzhen was the happiest whenever he visited.   The day finally came for the two, the day they would be visiting the hospital's lemongrass field for the first time. To be honest, Lu Han didn't like the idea of Xiuzhen leaving her room, but a promise was a promise. Besides, Xiuzhen was a bit of the stubborn type, and there was no other way around to convince her.   "Do you need help?" Xiuzhen asked when she noticed Lu Han struggling a little with his usual white cane.   "Nope, I'm fine. You should be worrying about yourself rather than me."   Nevertheless, Xiuzhen stuck close to Lu Han throughout the trip from her room to the backyard. Her pace was the same as his, slow and careful. Walking together like this reminded Lu Han of an elderly couple, but he didn't mind.   The fresh citrus smell greeted the two as they entered the lemongrass field. Both inhaled the scent at the same time, and just like magic, the bad thoughts they had earlier were gone. The beautiful green was relaxing and soothing for any patient and worker who passed by.   "Let's sit." Xiuzhen suggested after spotting a nearby bench next to a tree.   Just like before, she stuck close to Lu Han as they both made their way to the bench. She made sure the bench was cleaned off before helping him sit.   Lu Han sighed and took another sniff at the wonderful smell. "It's nice to smell something like this once in a while."   "I agree, it's refreshing for our minds."   "Blind people like me have to rely on smell to identify objects. I smell food, rust, rotting materials, people... It's rare that I smell something like this in my dail
