In the realm of Tserinthia, magic abounds in many forms and the peace is kept by the son of the earth of the daughter of the sun.  Ageless and powerful, the dragon and phoenix maintain order in a land filled with blessed humans, gifted enchanters, and all manner of people that want for nothing.  At least, that's how it's supposed to work...

This little plot bunny is completely and utterly inspired by Lindsey Stirling's new MV 'Shatter Me'.  And while I know (like usual) that I have plenty of unfinished stories begging for attention, as happens upon occasion, this one would not go away until I did something about it.  >.>

The quote from er Punch did not inspire anything but it did seem to echo the sentiments of the story rather poetically.  *shrug*  I could just be a er for the movie though.  heh

Also, this was originally only supposed to be one part/arc, but it has since spawned another idea which will eventually be following this shortly as a continuation of the story line.  Read on to find out more.  ;)
