Description
While on a much needed vacation in Venice, Italy with his best friend JR, Aron somehow manages to break a curse. A curse that should show him his soul mate. But in the process, he also learns the world is a little bit more complicated than he originally thought. As if his regular everyday problems weren't enough already...
Foreword
This is an entry for Tigress's 8th Year Contest. I'm writing something new but adding onto an established universe I previously started: Gargoyles and Spirits. While there's another story arc I wouldn't mind doing with it, this one fit well with the prompt:
There is a beautiful statue of a person in a large city, and rumor has it that when their soul mate touches their hand, they'll become human. Naturally, tourists from all over the world take selfies with the statue. Then one day a tourist touches it's hand to take the selfie and the statue falls into their arms.
Not to mention we get to see some things from Aron's POV this time around. heh
