Xiumin just woke up. He woke up with a severe headache. He then slowly sat down on his bed while

touching his head from the unknown pain. He groaned. Xiumin looked around in the room where he

is. It doesn’t look familiar. He haven’t been here before. He continued roaming his eyes inside the

room. At his front, he can see a flat screen television. And beside that television is a blue wall clock.

Its already 3 in the afternoon. On his left is a window with a white curtain but it is closed due to

the fully air-conditioned room. He can see a cabinet on his left and the on the right side of his bed

 is a small table with a basket of fresh fruits in it. The people outside of the room was noisy. He can

hear heavy footsteps, running people, chitchatting, cellphone ringing, baby crying and many more.

 Then he saw a guy leaning on his bed then xiumin thought, “who is this guy?” he was about to woke

 that guy up when that guy moved his head up. That guy’s eyes grew bigger when he saw xiumin

sitting on the bed and looking at him curiously while touching his own head. That guy suddenly

stood up, run outside of xiumin’s room and called the doctors and nurses to check on xiumin. And

yep. Xiumin is in a hospital. After minutes of unknown questioning of doctors to xiumin, like, “how

are you feeling?” “where do you feel hurt?” and many more, they finally got out of his room. Leaving

xiumin and that guy alone in the room. What an awkward atmosphere. No one dares to talk first

because both of them are shy to say something. “errrrr ..” xiumin broke the silence, “who are you?”

but he didn’t get a respond. Instead, that guy walked towards xiumin who that time was sitting on

his bed and hugged him tightly. Xiumin was in a complete shock. He doesn’t know what he is going

to do. He didn’t know if he is going to hug that person back or to push him away from hugging him.

But, he chose to hug him back cos he heard him sobbing. Xiumin patted his back to comfort him

 More and he sobbed more. “thank God you’re already awake ..” that guy murmured why we was

Crying. When that guy calmed down, they both separated from the hug. Xiumin looked at that

Guy curiously and asked, “you haven’t answered me yet, who are you?” that guy looked back at

 Xiumin, “I’m Luhan” then he smiled. What an angelic smile, xiumin thought. And he looked like a

 Girl. The way he speaks Korean is not fluent, is he perhaps not a Korean? But he looked like a

 Korean. “ahhhhh” that’s the only thing xiumin said after he found out what the name of that guy.

Then he asked again, hesitantly, “do you perharps .. ahhh.. errr.. know who I am?”

Luhan cried and said to xiumin, “don’t worry. I will help you remember everything xiumin”

“Luhan! The CEO is calling you right now!” luhan’s co-employee said to him at his table. At

That time, luhan was enjoying playing DOTA at his computer, he was bored to death. He paused

The game that he’s playing, stood up and went to the office of the CEO. Before he knocked on the

CEO’s door, he first looked at his reflection on the glass window if he’s already ready to get inside

The office then he finished looking at his self on the glass window and slowly knocked on the CEO’s

door. Then he went inside slowly. The CEO was on the phone. Seems like CEO’s not in a good mood.

The CEO signaled luhan to sit down and he did what he was told to. After some minutes, the CEO’s

Conversation with someone on the phone was finished then he looked at luhan, “sorry about

That luhan, it was important so I need to take that call”. Luhan responded, “no, its okay CEO

Joonmyeon, you can take your time as much as you want to” then they both smiled. Joonmyeon

Is a Korean. He migrated to China because one of his father’s company is located here and he was

 assigned to take care of that company so he had no choice but to come here. He adapted

the China’s culture right away. He also learned the language but he’s not that fluent. Joonmyeon’s

single but he has a cute pet at home named Byul. His one and only bestfriend.

Luhan asked, “why did you call me CEO Joonmyeon? Is there something wrong?” Joonmyeon looked

At Luhan with a sorry look. “uhm, luhan. We are .. you know..” Joonmyeon said “errr. Experiencing a

BIG problem right now” he emphasized, “and because of that we need to lay-off some employees.

Sorry Luhan, you’ve been a good employee” Luhan was speechless at first then after a few seconds

He smiled and said, “its okay President Joonmyeon. I understand.  Thanks for being good to me. Till

Here then. Bye” Luhan stood up and make his way out of the Joonmyeon’s office. Before he went

out, he glanced at Joonmyeon and smiled for the last time then he went outside of his office. Luhan

went directly to his table, got a box under his table and packed up his things. His co-employees

doesn’t know why Luhan is packing up, his co-employee approached him and asked, “why are you

packing up Luhan?” Luhan stopped packing up for a moment then looked at his co-employee “nice

working with you buddy” he hugged him then he exited the office. Bringing his box full of his office

stuffs.

 

At home:

“hey bro, what’s up? and what’s with that box?” His brother, Yixing, asked when Luhan entered

their house. Yixing that time was at their couch, watching TV. Luhan sat comfortably beside Yixing

 and said, “I was fired” Yixing was shocked, “oh my God. What are we gonna do now then?” He

asked. “I was honestly happy when I got fired” Luhan said “you know that I don’t like my job

Right? You know that I was only forced to take up engineering by our parents. You know what

I freakin love to do dude” he continued “Modeling” Yixing exclaimed. “you want to be a model, go

ahead dude. Be a model, live your life the way you want it to be, its your life anyway and you’re too

old now, our parent’s dead anyway” Yixing said. “I don’t want to be coward anymore. Yesterday,

I saw something in the net, that xiumin, my favorite photographer is looking for a model, I’ve been

Admiring his work for years now and I don’t want to skip that once in a lifetime opportunity” Luhan

Said to Yixing then Yixing said, “go kick up some in Korea dude. You’re the perfect guy they’re

Looking for as a model” Yixing smiled at his brother. Luhan was shocked of what his brother said.

He hugged Yixing tightly because he was touched then he whispered, “thanks bro” Luhan went

upstairs, to his room, packed up his things and his passport. He went to the airport right away.

After hours of waiting and travelling, he finally arrived at Incheon airport. It was all new to him, the

people, the weather, the language but thanks to the workshop he attended last year, he can now

speak and  understand Hangeul so there is no language barrier. As soon as Luhan got out of the

airport, he looked up on the net a cheap apartment where only one person can occupy and bingo!

he found one. He hired a taxi and told the taxi driver the address of the apartment. It was just 2 in

the afternoon that time when he got the cheap apartment and fixed his things. There are

still furnitures that are left by the previous occupant of that apartment so no need for Luhan to  buy

 things that are needed in his new home. What a luck he thought. Maybe this is the sign that he’s

going to be successful in being a model. Next thing Luhan did was to search up on the net the

address where xiumin is going to hold his audition for his new models. It is said there that

tomorrow is the audition and is in the asianfanfics coliseum at exactly 9am. Bring the needed

requirements and dress to impress. “wow” Luhan muttered. Asianfanfics is the biggest coliseum

in South Korea. It is where Superstar K always hold their audition every year. He became

nervous of the thought of how big it is. He stopped for a moment and closed his eyes. Trying

to cool himself down. He touched his chest and said to himself, “all is well Luhan, all is well”

it is his way of calming his self. He saw that from a movie he watched a few years ago. It was an

Indian movie titled, 3 idiots. It was an awesome movie that’s why it stayed in his long term

Memory. And then Luhan remembered Yixing, his brother, they were together when he watched

that movie. He opened his eyes and looked at his contacts, he was looking for Yixing’s number then

He called him. At Luhan’s first attempt, no one was answering his call. Then he tried again and

No one was still picking up. After for how many God knows attempt of calling Yixing, finally!

He picked up. “yo! What happened that you? I was calling you for the nth time” Luhan

Angrily said at Lay. “Sorry Luhan, I was sleeping and I forgot to turn on the ringing tone. I

Accidently put it in silent mode. Sorry. So, how’s Korea dude?” Yixing asked on the other

End. “Its beautiful here dude. I just called to say that I’m fine, that I found a place to

Stay in” Luhan said. “good to know bro” Yixing said. “I have to hung up now, its expensive to call

abroad. Bye dude, take care of yourself” Luhan said and Lay answered, “sure bro, Take care too,

bye” Then they both hung up. And because Luhan is tired from the travel, he slept without

Washing up and changing his clothes.

It was 6 in the evening when Luhan got out of his apartment and find a convenience store to

Buy some food and he found one. It was just 2 blocks away from his apartment. He bought

Instant noodles and bottled water. He ate the instant noodle in the convenience store and after

That, he left. He went back home. That is how Luhan spent his first day in South Korea. What

A boring first day.
