"Baozi!" You called, sticking your head out of the shower. You heard him appear on the other side of the door, a soft wind.

"You left your towel again." He chuckled softly, and you heard the door open. "Close the curtain." he said and you obeyed, smiling. You had the best roomate in the world. He never left a mess, never complained about food, and was always there when you needed him. He was your best friend; had been ever since you were young. For as long as you could remember, he had been there, smiling and taking care of you. Your parents even said that as a baby, sometimes your mobile would come on when you cried, making you giggle. He was your guardian angel, or guardian ghost as it were. Others might think it was strange that your best friend and roomate was a ghost, but you had never known anything else

"There you go.I'll start your coffee maker." The door closed and you smiled. "Actually, I'll make instant. I don't want to short out another one." You laughed, grabbing the towel off the rack. He had mastered lights, the remote, video games,  and tosters since you had been together, but somehow, the coffee machine and microwave were always a problem. You had gone through far more of each than anyone you knew, but it never botherd you.

When you came downstairs, Minseok was stirring your coffee, smiling brightly. "You all ready for school? Can I come wih you? I think I might have watched all of Netflix at this point... At least stuff I would watch without you." He complained and you laughed. He stepped away from the mug so you could grab it while rushing to the toaster that had just popped up your bagel. You sighed. "Please? Pretty please? I'm booooored."

"You can't talk to me in public, at least not if you want meto respond." Minseok grinned brightly. "And you have to behave. Promise?" You asked as he nodded, His clothes changed quickly, as he closed his eyes. You follow suit, letting him into your mind as you had a hundred times before. His voice sounded, as happily and brightly as ever.

{Let's go!} He grinned, looking inoocent and adorable, with a bright blue baseball cap over his pale hair. If only he always looked that innocent. If only he wasn't always next to you, protecting you, helping you, watching over you. Perhaps things could have always stayed the same for you; with him as your best friend, your self appointed guardian.

You nodded, taking a deep breath and remembering to lock away the part of your mind you had never worked up the courage to show him. {Away we go, Xiu Xiu.} You ran out to the street to meet your friends; all happy to see you. They wrapped their ams around your shoulders and you felt something burning in the back of your mind. Minseok didn't say a word to you, but his smile loked a little strained as he walked just outside the group.
