Bom POV

“So who is the chosen one?” Hyosung asked and turned to look at everyone.

“What chosen one?” Kris asked.

“The one who’ll …..” she continued.

“SHUT UP!” I yelled and really shut. She looked at me and Sunmi with panicked eyes.

“Oh… she’s truly sorry master…” Sunmi said to me who was red like a tomato and bowed. “She won’t speak anything else without your permission. So please take back your order…” she pointed at Hyosung’s sealed lips.

“Ehmm… You can talk now.” I said and she took a deep breath. Everyone were looking at us and trying to understand what was going on.

“Master, we should take you to the safer place than this…” Sunmi said and looked around with disgust “I doubt that you’re safe here.”

“Wait a minute!” Luhan took my hand and stood between me and the two of them. I saw those evil smiles on their beautiful faces. “You’re not going to take her anywhere… if she doesn’t want to.” he added and looked down on them.

“He’s right! I’m not going with you. If you want, you can stay here with us or just go away.” I said and clung to Luhan.

“We’re definitely staying!” the girls said.

“Wait… did you forgot that this is my apartment and it’s already crowded in here.” Suho said but demon girls looked at him proactively and smirked what almost made him drool.

“We could have fun together!” Hyosung said excitedly and Suho just nodded with opened mouth.

“Omg… he’s so easy.” Xiumin said loudly.

“What do you know about Bom?! She’s a human… not a demon.” Luhan said and put his arm around me.

“She’s a human because of the spell her mother put on her before she died… but what I can see she’ll take on her true form soon.” Sunmi smiled motherly at me.

“What do you mean?” Luhan asked, Sunmi and I made an eye contact.

“If the flowers on her body blooms her power will come back… “ she added.

“How much time it’s going to take?” he kept asking.

“It depends on you!” Hyosung bit her lower lip and looked at Luhan.

“What?” he said.

“SHUT UP!” I pointed on her lips and she couldn’t say anything else.

“I know who was that Mother of Earth or should I say the Empress and her two daughters.” Tao said suddenly.

“What do you know?” Kris asked him.

“I know that the war between our two clans began because of them… “ Tao said “My parents hid it from me and my siblings but one day I heard our clan’s monk talking with my father. It was right before I was took in by the fire clan. I know that she was the purest demon, whose beauty was unspeakable, she had two daughters, one with the Sun and other one with the Moon. Your father, Kris, was young at that time and he quarreled with the Empress over something very precious to her. “ he said and looked Kris in the eyes “After that incident he did something unforgivable… I don’t know more but the Empress and her daughters were never seen again.”

“We were the ones who took the daughter of the Sun from the castle… She was so weak at that time.” Sunmi said with the saddest eyes I ever saw.  “The fire clan took away and killed almost everything beautiful and happy in our kingdom. The wind clan came to rescue us but it was too late…”

“To late?” I asked and still couldn’t believe that I’m somehow connected to the world they were talking about.

“The castle was devastated, servants killed and the Empress was found dead in the throne hall… her body were almost burned only her left hand stayed untouched. I will never forget the sight of dead, black rose on her palm.” a tear slid on her cheek.

“…but my mom. I never saw any roses tattoos on her skin.” I said.

“After ours clan few survivors left the castle and her sister was unfound… she had no will to live. What’s more we had to do everything to hide so fire clan prince wouldn’t find us. We don’t know why but she was very scared of him… we laid down our powers and took human forms to live unnoticeably on Earth.” Sunmi touched my shoulder “Here she met your father and loved him and you more than everything, even her own life. For years everything was at peace so we left her… She summoned us few days before her death. We helped her to put the ‘love spell’ on you even though she didn’t explain why… few days later our friends brought us the horrifying news about her being dead…”  

I couldn’t help the tears that appeared in my eyes.
