You opened your eyes as Jaejoong stumbled to get inside the apartment.

A look of concern crossed your features as you gazed up at him through your perch on the floor. You glanced at the clock and read that it was past midnight

As he made his way past you, You could tell from the way he clutched the wall tightly for his balance that he was drunk..again…

He was also clutching his side and winching slightly as his shoulder bumped on the wall.

There was no doubt in your mind that there are fresh bruises under the shirt that he was wearing.

*another bar fight….* you sighed and stood up.

You continued watching him as he reached the bedroom and forcefully kicked his shoes of and yanked his shirt,

never bothering to take a second glance on his torn clothing, he dropped to the bed.

You felt a stab in your chest as you stood on his bed side and from there you could see clearly purple marks marring the skin in his torso to add to the pain you were feeling,

an assortment of black and yellow bruises were on his arms…

looking up from his face, it was then that you noticed that there was a few drops of blood trickling down the side if his face.

“why?...”

You turned your attention back to his face as you heard him.

“why?...I…I-I’m sorry…”

He whimpered as he struggled to complete the sentence but he was to drunk and to tired to continue.

Jaejoong continued to mumbled incoherent words and you watched helplessly as tears started to slowly fall down his cheeks, it hurt.

To see him this way, it feels like tiny shards glass was pierching your chest…slowly…

Yet you just stood there useless, unable to ease his pain, Unable to whisper to him and tell him that it was okay…

All you could do was watch.
Watch as he whimpered and sobbed for hours .

He looked battered and pathetic, his body was bruised.

He was broken.

But what drove the stake down your already non-existent heart were his cries.

It was more than his wounds…those were just on the outside…

It was on the inside that killed you.

….His heart was shattered….

His handsome face stained with tears as he closed his eyes, he was tired…too tired.

He gave one last sob as he drifted off into an uneasy sleep.

You couldn’t recognize him anymore, even in his sleep he looked different now,

No more was the Jaejoong that was always with a gentle smile on his face…

No more was the light that always flicker on his eyes when he is happy….

Now everything in him was just…empty.

That night eyes from heaven gazed down on two souls, they kept a silent vigil over a girl kneeling on her lover’s bedside as she watch him sleep, their expressions filled with sadness and longing.

As if to portray what the lovers were feeling, Rain started to fall outside the dark apartment

Like tears from angels…

The heaven was crying for a love that got lost.

For the two hearts that was destined together.

But are now apart.
