"uhmm so..time to eat.." jae said as he broke off the eye contact he had with yunho...honestly it felt like a lighting rushed through his body the moment  he looked at yunho's beautiful eyes...

"oh..uhmm..yeah...let's go..." yunho replied still holding onto his chest..

all six sat down on the table with heechul sitting next to hankyung and junsu sitting next to yoochun leaving yunho and jae take the seats left on the opposite sides of the table which means they have to face eachother directly...

"wow i haven't eaten korean food this good since like forever.." hankyung said as he put a spoonful of kimchi fried rice into his mouth

"well jae here insists that we cook/eat korean food most of the time, that way even if we were all born here and can't speak straight korean we would still rough have some connection to our roots even if its through food" heechul explained

"wow..at least you guys have this knowledge on how to properly cook korean food and food in general..with us three we're hopeless, good thing someone cooks for everyone back at the base.." yoochun said

"hyung does most of the cooking, heechul hyung and i only help in cutting and cleaning..." junsu uttered

"you'd make a good wife there jae hyung..right yunho hyung?" yoochun teased his friend as he noticed yunho was giving glances at jae's direction more frequently than he should..

"huh? ah..yeah..." yunho nodded making jae somehow blush at yunho's agreement to yoochun's statement

after dinner they decided to hang in the living room for a bit and have dessert which was a strawberry shortcake heechul begged jaejoong to make last night

"ok..you cook and you bake? you're amazing" hankyung complimented jae as he feed heechul with the cake

"thank you" jae said shyly

"so how long are you guys on vacation?" junsu asked

"well, we are out for about a month so can you bear with me for a month pretty?" yoochun answered making the younger one blush madly

"uhmm so since it's also our summer break...i took the liberty to rent us an apartment for a two weeks in ocean city, maryland" heechul declared

"and when exactly did you plan this?!" jae was now on her explain-right-now-or-im-gonna-kill-you look

"last night, you were asleep already so i  jae wont mind.." heechul said playing the i-know-you-can't-resist-me game which he knows jae will give in with a few more pouts and puppy dog eyes

"whatever...you gotta stop doing things without asking us first" jae said pouting knowing heechul has just softened his heart with his puppy dog eyes

"i don't mind..i think it will be fun" junsu said giggling

"yah! kim junsu! your MY brother, your supposed to be on MY side" jae pouted more making everyone laugh except yunho who was dying inside at how cute jaejjoong was acting and how he wanted to kiss those pouting lips so bad... 

after a few more chitchats to get to know eachother more the friends decided tohit the sack since they have to wake extra early tomorrow to pack their stuff since heechul somehow forgot to tell them they were leaving tomorrow afternoon already

after jaejoong changed he went into his room to find yunho standing in the corner of the room

"any problem?" jae asked without giving a chance of eye contact

"uhmm...i..i can sleep on the floor..i mean you dont want to sleep beside a stranger you only met today right?" yunho said

"well seeing as my brother and bestfriend are doing just that and i don't think you'll do anything to me, i guess it's ok to sleep on the bed together" jae smiled...tho inside he was feeling a little tense about it

"oh..thank you..and you can trust me..i wont do anything to you..i promise..." yunho said...

they both settled down and when jae turned off the lights they both stared into the darkness knowing both are still wide awake...

"so..your dad is a soldier?" yunho asked "sorry i just saw the photo" he added as he noticed jae wasn't answering...

"he was a soldier..he was killed in iraq before i turned 7..." jae answered, he didn't know why but he felt comfortable telling yunho about himself even a while ago at the living room

"im sorry..."

"no it's ok.."

"uhmm jae?is it ok for me to try and get to know you?" yunho asked wondering himself where he got the new found courage

"it's ok..i guess..your hankyung's bestfriend and heechul is my bestfriend and they're together so i dont think it would hurt for us to be friends.." jae smiled tho yunho cant see it

"how'd you know our bestfriends are together?" yunho asked confused

"shhhh...listen...." jae instructed

as yunho tried to listen, at first there was only silence until.... "uhg...ha..hannie...ugh...."/"chu-heechul..ahhhh" was heard and his eyes widened, now he was sure the walls arent soundproof and that the two are together

"oh...my..gosh..." was what yunho can only say

jaejoong giggled before he reached for the remote by his bedside and turned the cd player on, sweet soothing music played "this will help you sleep through that" 

"so tell me about you jae.." yunho asked trying to forget the moans that were coming from the other room

"well..im kim jaejoong,22 years old, i am full korean but me and my brother junsu were both born here...you?" he threw the question back

"jung yunho..24 years old, full korean but also born here...i have a younger sister named ji hye, my parents are both business people" yunho answered truth fully

"what made you decide to become a soldier yunho? are you not afraid of the things that happen to our soldiers overseas?" jae asked

"i always had a feeling of wanting to serve our country,,i have always felt that i have a duty to my family and to my country that's why i need to do this..." yunho explained proudly

and then everything was silent...yunho thought jae already fell asleep so he closed his eyes and in no time he  had dozed off to dreamland

"duty to family and country...." jae repeated in his head "that's what my dad said before he left..."

now jae was sure, he can't fall for yunho no matter how his heart would skip a beat when he was near...

even only after a day of meeting him he  felt something different, something he thought can make him overlook about him being a soldier but when he told him the reason why was he a soldier, he felt that when time comes yunho has to leave..he will never come back...

just like...

his dad...

hi guys ms piggy rabbit here..how's the fic so far? i know some of you will probably say the feelings are too fast..but well i kind of want to show how love at frist sight happens even if a lot of people do not believe it's possible..lol
