Hye Mi's pov 

I was sitting beside Hye Ri's bed. Looking at her peacful face while she sleeps. Mom get home for a while to get some Stuffs while dad is outside. Hyun a Woo suddenly came inside while holding a plastic bag of food. He sat beside me while smiling so widely.

"What are you smiling at?" I asked. Raising a brow.

"Why? It is bad to smile?" He said.

"Look, my sister is in this damn bed and was in' comatose. JiHoo was still oblivious to what's happening. Mom is stress. And mist of all, my family is ruined. Complete ruined. Tell me, then. How am I able to smile?" I said as tears starting to from in my eyes.  

"But hey, if you try to think positive, maybe your sister would wake up. You know, she can't resist you." He said

"No matter how I try to smile, it was all fake. Nothing is really real." I said. Looking away

"You can't smile because you keep on thinking negative things-" I cut him

"Can you tell me how I was able to forgive him?" I asked

"What's with the sudden ques--" Again, I cut him off.

"You know, I shouldn't be the one answering that. It should be you. Yourself." He said while handling me the plastic bag. He stand up.

"I leave you for a while, I'll come back as soon as possible." He said and hid me good bye.

A second pass, another person came in, Dad. He sat beside me. And looking at me. When he sensed that I don't have the plan to start the conversation, he sighed and look at HyeRi.

"Go home and rest for now, you've been guiding her for 24 hours. I'll guide her now. Go home." I chuckled bitterly when he said that.

"No, I can't trust you with that again. If I know well, you'll try to kill her. I won't let that." I said and he sighed

"Please forgive me. I know I haven't been a good dad to you before but give me a chance to correct my wrong doings. I'll promise you that." He said

"Oh really. I can't believe you anymore. So I'm sorry. Your too late for that. I don't want the past you let us taste will happen again. I won't let that. I'm sorry. Just leave. Hurting and ruining our family once is enough. You don't need to add kneededles in our hearts. Once is enough."
