Sojin's P.O.V

Today, I'm going to talk to you about my mother, Kim HyeJin, and how she and my dad met each other. My mom told me that she was born in Korea, moved to California when she was little, and moved back  in her senior year. She told me that she was really scared since she didn't know what Korean schools were like. She just knew it was different from American schools. She said she envied the girls that had their best friends right by their sides. Every day, she told me, she missed seeing her best friend and talking to them about the newest gossips. 

She told me that my dad was in the same class as her. Him and his friends were called to show her around the school, tell her about the school rules, and talk to her until she made some decent friends. On the second day of school, my mother fell for my father. Hard. Same with my father. She said she faced many hardships with girls in the school, but when she saw his smile... all the burden disappeared, and she forgot about the hate she received.

And eventually, my dad got the nerves to ask my mother out.

And they officially became a couple, and soon called one another husband and wife.
