“HyunJoong and I were out playing and we forgot about the time, it got really late so we decided to take a shortcut. We were running the way back home but suddenly HyunJoong fell down. I stopped and waited for him. He stand up and looked around, I called him but he didn't come he turned around went to a big tree neat the road. I went to get him but what I was shocking. On the ground before the tree, there was little kid lying on the ground. He was drenched in wounds and blood. HyunJoong turned to me, eyes full of tears he was unable to speak. I wanted to take him to a safe place afraid the people who did that to the kid would appear. Even though I wanted to help, to do something I was not confident enough in my skills, I was not able to do anything for that kid. I tried to take HyunJoong and leave but he resisted, he told me if I don't help that kid he would not move. Left with no other choice I put that kid on my back, we went to the hospital and called HyunJoong's parents from there. His parents were worried and angry because we were late but after hearing everything from the nurse they rushed to the hospital. It was hard but the kid fought death and survived at least, it took more then half a year for his physical injuries to heal completely. But even then he was not able to leave the hospital. He refused to let anyone in the room and didn't speak a word. The doctors told us that the kid lost his memories, they told us that the possibility for him to get mentally well was something near impossible but HyunJoong refused to believe anything since the doctors said the something months ago about him surviving. He visited him everyday tried everything to get his trust but nothing worked. At some pointed I couldn’t watch it anymore and talked to that kid. After some talk with him his behavior changed completely. He let people in his room and even began to talk, the only thing he was not able to do was to remember.
