On the other side of the universe parallel to them, there was a bliss couple unlike them... 

Jaeyi smiled,"Thank you for confessing to me, i love you." 
"I am glad i confessed to you, I love you too." Jongin lightly pecked on Jaeyi's lips in happiness. 

Flashback
"We said we would never fall for the same girl again." Sehun emphasized.
"Stop, stop beating around the bush. Say it." Jongin confronted, regardless of the result.
"Jaeyi rejected me, she said she likes someone else." Jongin in one mouth of breath, not knowing what Sehun would say next.
"Then?" A word came out forcefully from Jongin's mouth.
"I think... she likes you."
She does.
"What if i said she does?" Jongin admitted bravely,"I like her too." 
"Jongin..." Sehun stuttered, shocked by his sudden confession.
"Sehun, i understand, but..."
"I got it, wish you all the best with her." Sehun left the table, leaving Jongin alone.

Their friendship became sour at that moment. Jongin sighed as he walked away from the ice cream shop, wandering around the streets. 
"Jongin oppa?" His ears perked upon hearing the sweet familar voice.
"Oh Jaeyi ah, what are you doing here?" He asked, debating with his mind and heart to confess or not to.
"Nothing, just wanted to walk around."
"Hmm." He nodded.
She nodded back awkwardly,"If there is nothing else, then i will leave. See you in school." She smiled lightly and walked past him.
Jongin turned back to her and took in a deep breath,"Choi Jaeyi,  i have something to tell you."
She turned, taken aback by his sudden serious attitude. He walked towards her, only a step between them.
"I will always remember the first time we met, and how we actually started talking to each other. I knew you were different from others when i started talking to you, and after that first meeting i started keeping an eye on you. Or maybe before we started talking. I was just attracted to you and i wanted to know you over time. I didn't want to risk my friendship with you because maybe the feelings were only one-sided. Yes, i know Sehun confessed to you, but he is not going to stop me from confessing to you. Since i fell for you from the beginning, i have been carrying these feelings around without expressing them. I seemed cold and weird around you because i was afraid you might know how deep my love for you were. Now that we have had some time to spend with each other and have gotten to know each other better, i realize that i don't want to lose you. I want you to know how i feel for you. If you feel the same for me, it's your choice to tell me or not. If you don't feel the same, i will accept it too, as long as you are happy. So whatever happens after this, i will and i can live with it." Jongin looked straight into her eyes which started to brim with tears. Jaeyi blinked, a bucket of tears dripped onto her cheek. She couldn't speak.
She was happy, the boy she had a crush on confessed to her. She bit her lips to stop them from trembling. 
"I don't mean to make you cry, sorry, did i scare you?" Jongin bent a little to see her eyes and nose getting red.
Slowly, Jaeyi gazed into Jongin's eyes. 
Smiled. And nodded.
"I like you too,"Jaeyi confessed,"More than you think." She couldn't contain herself. She had waited for years and months for him and there he was. Her eyes flooded with happiness.
It was Jongin's turn to stare, he knew she likes him, but the overflowing happiness of her confessing directly makes Jongin stunned. Without a word, he lifted her up. Her happy and excited shriek filled the air as she hugged Jongin tightly. Jongin put her down and leaned forward to her, touching her lips with his. The feeling electrifies their skin, it felt so right, so good. 
 

End of Flashback

They have been together for 5 months, the 5 months where they get crazily in love with each other. They walked hand in hand around the crowded streets, cuddling with each other during rainy days, making meals for each other to eat. But they were each other's first love, "Is it puppy love?" Jaeyi will ask herself even though she felt really loved by Jongin. But they have no experience in dating or anything.
"Oppa, people say couples break up easily after 4 to 6 months of dating. This is our 5th month and we did not have big quarrels, are we going to last?" Jaeyi asked while swinging Jongi
