Jung Daehyun was a prince from the wealthiest kingdom in Korea who had to face the marriage which arranged by his parents, King and Queen of Busan. The king and queen wanted the best wife for his son. She should be a princess from the other kingdom. But because there were 10 other kingdoms in Korea which had princess, the wife had not chosen yet. It would be decided through the system that created by the young advisor of that kingdom, Yoo Youngjae. He called it “30 Days with the Prince”. Even though Prince Daehyun didn’t like the idea, especially the name, the expert of persuading Yoo Youngjae had win in debate with other ministers in kingdom.  It meant that whether with or without Daehyun’s will, the contest would still come to force legally.

The basic system of the contest was one by one of every contestant that was princess from other kingdoms should live in Busan Kingdom for 30 days. In those 30 days, she had to win Busan people’s heart, especially Prince Daehyun’s. But it could be less than 30 days if she failed at weekly test. In that case, she would be accompanied to her own kingdom automatically. The next princess would come until the rest of 30 days before ended. Those vacant days meant a lot for Jung Daehyun. The result would come until the entire participant did the contest.

Other kingdoms were really anticipating for that contest. They wanted their princess had marriage with the prince from the wealthiest kingdom in Korea. The marriage would bring a lot advantage to their kingdom. That’s why all princesses from the other kingdoms participating in this contest. They had sent the painting of their princess’s face to Busan Kingdom. There were 10 paintings. As Youngjae’s advise, the turn was decided by the look of them. It would be started from the prettiest one until the ugliest one.

Miyori was trying so hard to not cry when she bid goodbye to the people she love. It was the first time she will be somewhere without them, especially her faithful servant. She had never left the kingdom before. She felt so lonely and afraid. But when she turned back and looked at her faithful guard who was staring at her, she smiled in happiness and secure feel.

“At least, you still be with me, Yongguk-shi.” The said person only gave a nod.

“Am I the first princess who practices this 30 Days with the Prince contest?” 

“No. Actually you are the last, Princess.” 

“Why should I be the last?”

“It is because your picture that has sent to us was considered as the last on pretty, Princess.” 

“So I am the ugliest then. The other princesses must be so pretty. I think I have no chance.” She whispered softly. Only her faithful guard who sat next to her that could hear her.
