Find a Way

Their Powers

Luhan did another attempt to escape the thorn-made cage. He tried using his powers to separate the thorns but the thorns only grew. “Aish…” He sighed. He then looked out the cage and a thought entered his mind.

“Sehun-ah! Are you here?”

His voice echoed through the cave and for a second, he called himself stupid.

“Hyung!”

Luhan’s head popped up when he heard Sehun’s voice. He smiled a bit which rarely happens and called out to him again,” What happened to Sujin? How did you awake her wolf?”

“Yah, come to me first hyung!” Sehun whined. Luhan cussed a bit. How can he go to Sehun? He tried concentrating more and putting his strength to control the thorns. After about half an hour, he managed to make a whole where he barely fit in. He crawled out of the cave and ran to the deeper part, where he heard Sehun’s voice come from.

Luhan felt the power in the cave, and he knew the place was getting creepier by the minute. Leejin or whoever she is was controlling Sujin’s body and power. And she knows more about Luhan’s past than he knows himself.

“Hyung!” Sehun cried out when he saw Luhan. “Just wait for a moment, Sehun-ah,” Luhan said as he climbed up the pole Sehun was tied against. “No, don’t, hyung,” Sehun said. “Waeyo?” Luhan asked, trying to unknot the rope. “She used some kind of spell. You can’t untie it. Until I follow her orders, the rope will never come off loose,” Sehun answered with a serious expression on his face.

Luhan jumped down and looked around. He saw the blobs of darkness floating in the air and inside those blobs were scenarios of what was happening outside the cave. “Hyung, Sujin can surface. She’s fighting for her control but Leejin is too strong. You need to help her. She can’t do this alone,” Sehun informed him. “But how?” Luhan furrowed his eyebrows, trying to think of an answer to his own question.

“Love sounds too cliché,” Luhan told himself. “Love is never an answer in real life, especially when a wolf is covering the world with darkness,” he said and then looked around. He saw some writing on the cave’s walls and went over there to take a closer look.

It was some ancient language but Luhan understood what it meant. It may have been Sujin’s message for Luhan or whoever wanders in the cave to help Sehun.

Blood moon is when she is at her strongest but there is a way to stop her madness.

One who controls insanity might put a stop but the effort needed is quite a lot

In a turn of events, a traitor will appear, in the wolf’s heart, she is near

Luhan furrowed his eyebrows. “Yes, blood moon is when Leejin is strongest, I’ve understood that now. Choi is the only one who controls insanity but who’s the traitor?” he asked himself.

“What are you doing?” Leejin’s voice echoed through the cave. “I was done with playing around with Kai but I didn’t expect to see you here and trying to find a way to banish me too,” she said in a sad tone but her lips curved up into a smile.

“You can’t do anything, Luhan. I have control over this whole place. The only thing I have yet to control is who my mate will be. I never wanted you after all,” Leejin then sped up to Luhan and pointed her claws at his neck. “I never ever wanted you to be my mate,” she narrowed her eyes. “You’ll only defy me but I know you can’t hurt me,” she said with a bitter tone.

“I don’t want a mate who thinks she-wolves are for reproduction only. I’m showing you what damage a she-wolf can deal. I am as powerful as you are,” she said, lightly scratching his neck. “Sad thing about this is I can’t hurt you too,” she frowned. “I can’t really kill you. I’ll feel your pain after all. We are permanently connected. But at least I can trap you in a better cage. But I won’t have the pleasure to torture you,” she continued.

But then her expression softened. Her red eyes turned into their usual black shade. “Help me… Luhan… help,” a weak voice came out of . But Leejin gained control again. She cleared and furrowed her eyebrows. “She’s really determined. Tsk tsk,” she shook her head. She lowered her claws and took a step back.

“Not so fast, Lee Sujin.”

Sorry for the short update. I can't really write if I get all down. I am getting worried about Kris so I'm really sorry. It's hard to think about evil thoughts when your heart is getting soft and your eyes threatening to cry out tears.

Chapter 40: Damn...You know what it is to stay up all night reading a story that leaves you wanting more? It was addictive. It was intriguing. And it left my patience to run minimally. Shall I call this an Overdose?
