Taeyeon's Pov

Our phone hasn’t stopped ringing all night,

She wants me to leave it directly onto mailbox,

But at tenth time my manager called me, I give her my sorry looks and answered it.

He scolds me of course, he said I was being irresponsible while I have another schedule to catch on tomorrow,

I forgot for a moment if I have to go to Bangkok in the evening.

After, like a half hour, my battery drops and I turn my cell off as I charging it.

Tonight is only about me and her,

Not anyone alse,

Not our managers,

Not our schedule,

Not even our company,

Just me and sooyeon.

I already said it to him if I’m going back tomorrow at the very first flight,

And I will be there like I wasn’t even gone.

When I came back from 20 minutes call,

Sooyeon already put every candle out,

And she is there,

Lying on her back,

“hey you,” she greets me with her loving looks,

She has her eyes on her polaroid,

admiring her photograph of my sketch,

and I decide to join her.

After we, well she, spend some time to take a good photo between my sketch and her figure, I ask her to lay down with me a little bit.

I have her head on my chest,

I let her body against me a little on top just so she knows if she is the only one who could make my heart beats faster.

I wrap my left hand around her tiny back,

It made its own way on to rest on her waist.

And I let her play with the other hand,

Just to keep both of us awake.

we have to catch on our plane at the first flight,

so we don’t dare to have any sleep or we might be late for our flight.

We are only lying down,

Appreciate each other’s presence,

and stare at the ceiling,

Well she is,

I just stare at our intertwined hands,

And steal glances at her sharp nose,

Her rather chubby cheeks,

Not that chubby actually,

It’s on their normal size.

But I can’t help it,

but wanting to caress it or squeeze it or kiss it.

She is starting to hums a random song,

Maybe it was coldplay,

Or maybe frank Sinatra,

While She is playing with my fingers.

sometimes she caresses it with her thumb,

some the other time she flicks my fingers caused me to whine a little.

"Ouch, were you really intentionally hurting me?," I whined, my playful tones can be heard on every word.

And she just giggles,

"Yeah, you are mine to hurt," she said while looking up at me,

Her half-moon eyes seems so bright,

Her smile couldn’t leave her face,

Neither did mine.

"Doesn't mean you could hurt me though," I said as I’m trying to sound offended,

And her melodious giggle can be heard in the whole room,

"You're such a whiney, you know that?," she asked while still looking at me,

Her wide grin could make her face hurt but she still does it anyway,

She is just too cute,

And I just chuckle,

“it’s my birthday, why don’t you just treat me like I’m a princess slash queen for a day?,” I tried to make my tongue shorter just to make my voice sounds smaller, and cuter,

Do the old me even do this?

Look at what have you done to me, jung sooyeon,

“technically, it wasn’t your birthday.”

“but for me it is, we are on your birthday present to me, so it counts today as my birthday,” I answered cockily,

“and I always treat you like a princess,” she ignores my answered,

“since when? I feel like I was always your prince charming.”

I said that as I remembering at the time where I asked her out,

where I took her out for a dinner,

where I asked her to be my girlfriend,

where I always did what she asked me to,

not that I’m complaining though,

I really enjoyed it when I did it for her, with her,

I just feel like I have to give it all to her,

All the best thing in the world,

I want to protect her with all of me.

“half of it was right though, you kinda swept me off my feet, but doesn’t it a prince job to do?,” she asked while giving her serious and thinking look,

She furrows her eyebrows cutely,

I can’t help but bring my lips to peck her lips,

“but, to me, you are the most gorgeous princess around jeonju,” she said as a smile make a comeback on her face,

“only jeonju?,” I asked while raising an eyebrow,

And she jokingly let a huffed out,

“fine, you are the most gorgeous princess at south of Korea, ”she said while looking directly into my eyes, and i pout,

“fffiiiiineee, you are the most gorgeous princess in da world, are ya happy, kim taeyeon?,” she said it as she rolls her eyes like she was annoyed but actually,

she wins this little non-sense battle,

“no, you are the most gorgeous princess in the world, baby,” I said as I close our gaps, it doesn’t meant to last long but it wasn’t only a peck, she nibbles my lower lips for a few millisecond before we apart again,

“you spoilt me,” she said it with her much lower voice,

Like she didn’t want me to hear,

But her tinted red blush could lie,

and I already catch on what she was saying,

I just let a small chuckle out,

“you deserve it,” I said as I the back of her hand,

She slips her fingers between mine and intertwined it again somehow.

We didn’t speak for a moment but her movement with our fingers make me sure if she is still conscious,

"Look at our hand, they fit perfectly for each other," she said as she tried to get a better look from every angle,

in a minute she pulls it closer,

and the next minute she pushes it away.

She looks at it with her serious look,

And she puckered her lips.

How adorable.

"Do you want me to sketch it too? or do you want to take your polaroid now and snaps it?," I ask while I tightening up my arms that wrap around her.

I meant to joke around before, but she suddenly excited,

"Good idea,"

And when she starts to stand up,

I pull her back and snuggling closer,

"Not now, you could snap it any other time, we still have forever to go," I said as I'm starting to kiss her neck.

She tilts her head a little, to give me permission to continue what I do,

"But...you could do this any other time too," she said as she tries to catch some oxygen into her lungs,

And I stopped as she told me to,

Instead of getting loving looks, I got her killer looks,

Like it says, how dare you to stopped it,

“really taeyeon? Really?,” she said with her unbelievingly tones,

“what? I thought you wanted it another time, go get your camera or my sketchbook now,” I said, I didn’t mean for being rude or evil, I didn’t think I could handle the pressure. I don’t think she is ready for the next step,

I haven’t even reached our second base.

And with heavy steps, she finally stands up and bringing her camera.

She throws her polaroid at me, and thankfully I manage to catch it fast,

Or it might just hit me,

on the face.

And I just brushed it off,

“now, where is your hand?,” I asked while I held out my hand, waiting for hers,

But she just eyeing me, with her scary looks,

“baby where’s your hand? If you give it to me now, I’ll make it up for you about before,” I said patiently,

And her scary looks gone,

“really?”

“yeah, but not funny business, I’ll give you something else instead,” I said,

Before she was complaining again,

And when she was off her guard,

I hold her hand,

I let my hand holding it tighter,

And she finally gives in.

I slip my fingers between hers and holding it tightly,

“this is what you wanted before, I didn’t break your hand or anything, swipe that sorrow look off your face, baby, or I’m not doing anything you say again.”

“are you threatening me, kim taeyeon?.”

“nope, I gave you a warned,” I said while smiling as a flash and clicked sound could be heard.

And a paper came out, I try to dry it softly,

Sooyeon just watching me from her seat,

And I stand up to look for a pen.

When I found one, I brought my steps back to the bed,

And writing something at the behind our intertwined hand photo,

Sooyeon moves from her seat to take a look of what I wrote,

Falling in love is never easy, if it was, they won’t put falling at the beginning of sentences. but jung sooyeon, loving you is surely easy thing to do. Please, Let me have you. Not only at the beginning, but also until the very end. Let me have you the way I want to, the way you wanted me to.  I love you.

“wow, you surely know how to use your words, kim taeyeon,” and now she talks,

She stoles the photo from my hand,

A smile hanging on my face,

I pulled her in, covering our body with a blanket,

While still mesmerizing the photo,

Maybe the words.

I have her back on my grasp,

I put my arms around her,

Squeezing her,

I have these needs to feel a lot closer at her.

“I’m going overseas this evening,” I said as I look at the clock, it’s already a new day,

“where at?,” she asked without leaving her eyes from the photo,

“Bangkok, for 3 days.”

And now I have her attention again,

She looks up at me with her furrowing brows,

And when I though I already have her back,

“for what?,”

“cf shooting and fan meeting.”

And we are quiet for a few seconds, until she opens again,

“you know most of couple fall apart because of long distance.”

This time her voice sounds too little for our own good,

The insecurity is a wall we should learn to climb,

She has a pout on her face, I could erase it with a kiss,

But I don’t push my luck,

“baby, you know, I only go for 3 days, don’t be silly.”

And there’s silence, she stares at the pict but not really staring,

“we could make an LDR work, though, and I’ll call you every time I can.”

I start to her hair and kiss her forehead,

“alright,” she said as she puts down the photo at her photo album and snuggle a little closer at me,

She has her right hand on my chest while she’s lying on her left self,

“thank you,” I said, as I kiss her forehead again.

For a quite minutes, I didn’t feel her movements at all,

Her steady breath makes me anxious,

But then, she suddenly said something I didn’t expect,

“I’m falling in love with you too, taeyeon, deeper than I have ever been, deeper than I should’ve had.”

It’s 9 in the morning when they arrived back at town,

As their plan,

They make a call for their manager,

And they leave from vip exit and went straight to their van.

“that was the best night of my life, sooyeon-ah,” I said as I put a painting set, her present, in the front seat. We are currently sitting in the middle seat.

“thank you,” I added as I put my left arm around her,

She leans her head on my shoulder,

“my pleasure, now we have to face reality, are you ready to face bunch of people scolding us and asking us to go straight to hell?,” she asked.

“well, whatever they say, even though I went straight to hell, but I won’t ever be straight, not when I have Jessica jung sooyeon in my life.”

“aw you cheesy-talky,” she said while softly pinching my waist,

And her phone suddenly starts to ring,

Tiffany’s name is showed up on the screen,

“now, you answered it,” she said.

And my eyes just went wider by itself,

“WHAT? No, I’m not talking to her before you did, she’s going to chop my head off, knowing we weren’t at dorm last night, and worse, we were running away together, sleeping in the penthouse, I couldn’t face here right now,” I said defensively,

And there, that damn pout, on her flawless face,

“so you’re alright when she chops my head off?.”

Ugh that miserable tone,

“but it was you who taking me out!,” I said while releasing my arm from her back,

I just look at her, while she looks at me, and her phone is still ringing and showing tiffany’s caller ID.

“but it was for your birthday, don’t you think this is the last thing you’d do for me?,” she asked, well, she whines.

for better or worse, my phone is starting ringing too,

And it’s sunny’s name on the caller id,

Great, now the second manager is ready to chop my head off,

“babe you are on your own, I have lee sooman’s niece here, my life is on the line.”

And she huffs, but she takes it anyway,

And I do too,

“hello my California gurl.” “yoboseyo, aigooo uri leesoman’s pretty niece here, annyeonghaseo, did you have enough sleep?.”

“GET. HERE. FAST,” tiffany said to sooyeon,

“OR. YOU. GUYS. WILL. BE. DEAD. MEATS,” and sunny said to me,

Perhaps they were calling at the dorm, together, oh well.

When we are on our way, we tried to match our story and I didn’t forget her to mention if we were just having our dinner, not something else like I sketch for her and she was wearing…basically she wears nothing. And when we come to our agreement, we walk in to dorm with hand in hand,

Her other hand pulling her luggage, and I pull mine and my painting set.

I’m swiping the key and the door is opened, I put our luggage in first and sooyeon brings the painting set,

And we have 7 other members waiting for us,

Tiffany and sunny have their arm folded on their belly,

Sooyoung sitting on the couch with her bucket of fried chicken,

Yoona, seohyun, hyo, and yuri are busy pretending if there wasn’t storm awaiting for both of us.

“you, two, sit,” tiffany’s voice sound strict and scary,

Sooyeon and me do as she told, immediately,

Sooyeon sits beside sooyoung, and i sit exactly on her other side.

“where were you going?,” sunny asked.

“uhm well,” I said as I nudge sooyeon, she supposed to tell the story first,

“I was taking taeyeon out for dinner, we were celebrating her birthday, just the two of us,” she said with her much calm voice.

And tiffany has agape in awe,

“and where was you? Out of the town?,” sunny chipped in.

I gulped,

“uhm yeah, we could use some space,” I said with a finger crossed,

“do you think it’s fair for all of us? What if you guys got caught again? Do you think company will handle it again for the next time? You guy would be dead if there will ever be the next time,” tiffany said, her eyes a little shimmering with tears.

I know tiffany and sunny don’t mean any harm, they just try to look out for each other,

“I’m sorry, I really am, I just…”

“and without our managers?,” tiffany added in again,

“it’s because I don’t want people to know about it, tiffany, I didn’t tell anybody, it was just me and taeyeon, if I told them, they’ll make a big fuss about it,” sooyeon’s voice suddenly raising,

“they don’t like what taeyeon and I have, they don’t want us to be happy, they will make us miserable in life, you know what? Because we are girls in love, we are girls, we don’t supposed to fall in love with each other but we did, and I thought we had your support,” she added in,

I squeeze her hand, wanting her to stop, tiffany seems ready to break,

“I just want to make taeyeon happy, I haven’t give her a proper present, tiff, it was not more than a day, it was merely a half day and she has to leave again this evening, I thought from all people you guys could understand, especially you tiffany.”

And tiffany turns her back on us, she tries to calm her breath and sunny is leading her,

And when I look at my girlfriend’s face, tears are ready to fall on the ground,

Sooyoung puts down her chicken wing and starting to comforting sooyeon, the other 4 members were listening intensely from dining room, and yoona comes with box of tissues for both of them.

“unnie, don’t cry,” yoona said while caressing sooyeon’s arm.

“I was just trying to looked out for you,” tiffany suddenly said,

“and I thank you for that, tiffany, I really do,” sooyeon said, she doesn’t bawl, she just shed some tears.

And tiffany suddenly turns her back and fully facing us,

“I… just love you guys too much,” and she runs to sooyeon, and sooyeon pulls her in a hug, and when I was about to release from hot spot, tiffany brings me in the huddle hug,

And 5 other members come in the group hug,

“I love you too unnies,” yoona said with her cute choding voice,

“nadooooo,” sooyoung said with her not much nicer than choding’s voice,

Tiffany and sooyeon are usually like this, raising their voice, and the next thing they know one of them was shedding tears, and it was sooyeon most of all, and out of nowhere we were huddle up, just like now.

“guys…I can’t breathe,” I said as oxygen been squeezed out from my lungs,

And they break off the hug,

But sooyeon still has tiffany in her arms,

“are you guys hungry? I’ll call take out, Chinese restaurant, koll?”

And 6 heads eagerly nodding, even if sooyoung had already a bucket of chicken.

And I make my way to the phone, I’m very grateful, we don’t have to fight out or anything, it’s all well,

And then sooyeon’s phone rings, but she was talking with tiffany, she doesn’t notice, instead of her, sooyoung is,

And she screams out of nowhere,

“OMO.”

And I’m busy calling our Chinese restaurant, listing the foods and drinks,

“why did sica unnie only have sheets in here? Is she ?,” seohyun’s voice echoed at the whole dorm,

“let me see let me see, OMO, what you guys exactly doing?,” and now it’s yuri’s voice.

What is it with them, ? Sooyeon?

“I WANT TO SEE THAT PICTURE,” sooyoung suddenly yells,

“wow kim taeyeon, I don’t know how lucky you are to get the whole package of Jessica jung,” and that was hyo’s.

Wait…

Picture…

Sheet…

Wait…

OH MY GOD,

“YAH!,” I suddenly barked in and witnessing the sight of 4 members looking at sooyeon’s phone,

“what is it?,” sooyeon asked from her room, she went in with tiffany and sunny before, I guess, but I could care less,

“DO YOU SHOW THEM THE PICTURE? HOW? WHEN? WHY? WHY WOULD YOU THAT?,” and I’m suddenly panicked, I try to snatched her phone from sooyoung’s but she is too tall.

“no, of course not, wait…is that my phone…WOW NO, GIVE IT TO ME, CHOI SOOYOUNG I DEMAND YOU TO GIVE IT RIGHT BACK AT ME.”

“what is it guys?,” tiffany asked, and sooyoung just need to answered it, out and loud,

“TAEYEON WAS PAINTING JESSICA IN NOTHING BUT WHITE SHEET,”

“HOLLY SHHH, GIVE IT TO ME, woooowwww you really are nice at drawing, taeng,” sunny said while looking at the phone,

And I give sooyeon’s look, looks where stare could kill,

“I swear I didn’t show them,” she said with her horrified eyes,

“BUT SHE MAKES IT AS WALLPAPER SCREEN THOUGH,” and sooyoung, again, makes it clear, out, and loud.

And sooyeon gulps,

“hehe baby, it was an accident actually, they weren’t supposed to see my phone, they are so rude right,” sooyeon said with cuter voice at me first, but then hissed when she hit the rude part, and she looks at the other members.

“but you guys really look nice in here, oh Jessie, can I take a look at the sketch?,” tiffany asked, and sooyeon is sending me her asking look, like, can-i-show-off-a-bit-at-them-please, and I guess there is nothing I can do, so I just nodding and she is off to take the sketchbook.

“hello…helloo,” oh I forgot if I was still on the phone with chinnese restaurant,

“yes, sir, can you repeat again what I ordered?.”

And then I heard all the teasing words,

“awww unnies” - ­yuri, yoona

“you are so lucky Jessie” - tiffany

“she is the lucky one, tiff.”  - sooyeon

“unnie, is that your cleavage?” - seohyun

“yah seohyun, you don’t ask second eldest unnie that question, let’s ask, was she really wear nothing beneath that sheet?” - sooyoung

“I guess you guys go all the way, huh,” - hyo

And these headaches decide to step in, I shouldn’t trust sooyeon to not brag about it, but if that makes her happy, I couldn’t say the other way around,

Sunny suddenly walk towards me and sit beside me, she seductively said,

“unnie taeyeon, would you draw me with nothing but bra next time?,”

WHAT?

“hey guys, do you want taeyeon to draw us like she draw sica?, she seems really good at drawing right,” sunny added in.

And suddenly my seat full with 7 other members,

“YASSS UNNIE, PLEASE DRAW ME.”

“ME TOO” “ME FIRST” “NOPE ME FIRST, RIGHT TAE?”

“tae I don’t mind if there wasn’t any cover, you could be my Capricorn.”

“It’s caprio, hyo!.”

And there is jung sooyeon standing from afar, glaring at 7 of them,

 “over my dead body you guys,” she said as she gritted her teeth.

And she is starting to run and beat 7 girls at the same time,

“YAH! COME BACK HERE YOU SEVEN DWARVES!”

It was like watching a fox getting ready to eat chickens,

But then the chickens are ganging up on her and ready to do the counter attack at the fox,

“don’t you dare to tickle me! Don’t you…YAAAAAAHHHHHHH IT’S TICKLED GUYS STOPPED IT HAHAHAHAHAHA,”

Only these chickens is too skinny and too pretty, and too cruel.

sooyeon’s dolphin screams last for over than minutes,

I bite my lips, restraining myself from laughing,

“that’s why you should keep it to yourself, sooyeon-ah.”

“HAHAHAHAHAHA GUYS STOPPED IT HAHAHAHA TAEYEON HELP MEEEEE!!!.”
