i turned around.

"good morning" i smiled.

"you guys wait up for me too!!" eunmin ran after us.

eunmin caught up to us.

"ugh school" haerin sighed.

"i know right" i groaned.

"at least i get to see you guys" eunmin smiled.

we have been friends since elementary school. you couldnt separate us at all. we were always together. we understood each other. we were just like sisters. everyone in school knew we were the closest friends ever. if someone did anything to anyone of us we will back each other up and help each other. as we always say........

"best friends forever!!" we yelled.

"First year of high school" haerin said.

"school again" i groaned.

"you hate school a lot" eunmin giggled.

"yea i do" i nodded.

"hey at least you get to see us" haerin nudged me.

i nodded. the school bell rang.

"5 more minutes!!" eunmin said.

"lets hurry!!" haerin grabbed both of our arms.

"but wait" i stopped.

"what??" they both looked at me.

"i dont know my room" i said.
"youre in our room" haerin said.

"same classroom again" eunmin smiled.

"really??" i widen my eyes.

"yep" they both nodded.

"yay!!" i jumped around.

the bell rang again.

"come on 3 more minutes left!!" eunmin ran ahead.

 

[1 Week Later]

 

"so how is high school for you guys??" i asked.

i opened my lunch box.

"OH!!" haerin pointed her chopsticks to me and eunmin.

"its not polite to point chopsticks to people" eunmin took a bite of her food.

"we're always bullying each other anyways" haerin smiled.

"but yea what did you want to say haerin??" i asked.

"anyways you guys know that boy in our class" haerin slightly blushed.

"theres a lot of boys in our room" i said stating the obvious.

we all laughed.

"im talking about chinhim" haerin said.

"oh him" me and eunmin nodded.

"you like him??" i questioned.

"sorta" haerin blushed.

"he is cute" eunmin said.

"but he started talking to me yesterday" haerin squealed.

"aww" me and eunmin teased.

"shut up" haerin hit us.

that was the start.....the start of us splitting up.

 

[After School]

 

"aww theyre together" eunmin said.

i looked at where she was looking at. haerin and chinhim was together at the front gates.

"a lot of guys like haerin" eunmin said.

"shes pretty and cute" i smiled.

"one of the popular girls in this school" eunmin said.

i nodded. haerin was friendly to everyone. that how we all become friends. she was always like that in elementary too.

we went up to them.

"hey haerin" we both said.

"these are my friends. eunmin and bomi" haerin pointed to us.

"hi" chinhim waved.

he seems like a nice guy.

"a date tomorrow then haerin??" chinhim said.

"yep" haerin nodded.

"see you tomorrow then" chinhim waved.

chinhim walked away.

"hes so cute" haerin smiled.

"love is in the air" eunmin said.

"oh love..." i giggled.

"shut up" haerin laughed.

"where should we go today??" haerin asked.

"the convenience store" eunmin said.

"to buy candy!!" i smiled.

"food" eunmin yelled.

"lets go!!" haerin pointed forward.

everyday after school we always hanged out. never skipped a day. not even in summer neither winter. always at someone's house or at the store or at the park. it was always us......

 

[Next Day]

 

"haerin isnt with us today" eunmin looked out the window.

"its fine. she likes chinhim anyways" i looked out too.

we saw haerin running towards chinhim waving. they linked arms and walked away.

"just us then" i said.

"what should we do??" eunmin questioned.

"you guys wanna karaoke??" somebody came up to us.

it was 3 other girls from our class.

"sure" eunmin nodded.

"i guess" i shrugged.

this is the first time for us to hang out with another group of friends but i guess. something new right??

 

[1 Month Later]

 

"are you gonna hang out with us today haerin??" i asked.

"lets see....chinhim and i have a date" she was text on her phone.

"who you text??" eunmin asked.

"chinhim" she smiled.

theyre dating now....its been almost 3 weeks now.

"you never hang out with us anymore" i sighed.

"i did!!" haerin said.

"last week" i looked away.

"i will tomorrow" haerin said.

"you said that yesterday" i said.

"bomi" haerin looked at me.

"why do you have to be so needy?? we're always together anyways" haerin said.

"its true what bomi is saying" eunmin sighed.

"fine. i will hang out with you guys today" haerin put down her phone.

"so where we going??" haerin smiled.

"whatever" i stood up.

"where you going bomi??" eunmin asked.

i ignored it and just walked out the classroom.

haerin's words.....i would have never thought she'll say that. knowing me i thought she would never say that. she knows that in middle school i was bullied. i was depress and stress. why would she say that to me..... i walked out the building not caring if a teacher saw me. my phone rang.

"hello??" i answered.

"bomi" it was eunmin.

"yea" i said.

"you ok??" eunmin asked.

"yea" i nodded.

"forget haerin's words. its okies" eunmin said.

"yea i know" i said.

"well yea....if you need anybody im here still" eunmin said.

"thanks eunmin" i said.

"okies. see you tomorrow" eunmin said quietly.

"you too" i nodded.

i hung up. i sighed. haerin and eunmin are close. i always feel like an outsider between them. they were friends first and became friends with me after. this was my first time getting mad at haerin. me and eunmin may argue but we always forgave each other.

 

[1 Week Later]

 

ever since that incident me and haerin hasnt really talked. one word sentence. shes always with chinhim too now.

"bomi you wanna hang out with me and the girls??" eunmin asked.

"sure" i nodded.

"it will keep my minds off of things" i sighed.

"after school then" eunmin said.

"okies" i nodded.

recently eunmin has been hanging out with those girls we went karaoke with. its good shes making more friends. but for me....im just sitting here like a loner.

after school came by. we went to one of the girl's place.

"here you guys go" the girl hand us a can of beer.

eunmin opened and gulped down her can. i widen my eyes.

"you drink eunmin??" i asked.

"yea. i've been drinking" eunmin smiled.

eunmin never drink before. i looked at the beer in my hand. i never drink before either. smoke then came across my face. i started coughing. they were smoking weed. the girls passed it to eunmin. she took a puff.

"i never knew you did eunmin" i said.

"its fun. makes me feel nice" eunmin laughed.

"but eunmin" i gave her a worry look.

"look bomi. haerin isnt coming back anymore. we just need to find new friends now" eunmin said.

"but why would you do this??" i asked.

i put the can of beer down.

"cause it lets all my stress go away" eunmin said.

"my sadness disappears" eunmin leaned back.

"but this is bad eunmin" i said.

"bomi im not a kid anymore" eunmin smirked.

"i know what im doing" eunmin said.

"then stop doing it" i shook my head.

"bomi we're not in middle school anymore. realize reality our friendship is broken" eunmin said.

"even between you and me??" i questioned.

"probably" eunmin shrugged.

i just stared at eunmin for a while. not believing this is happening.

"why would you think that?? i thought we were best friends for life" i said.

"we're in high school now. what do you except??" eunmin snickered.

"i thought this will only be haerin but i guess i was wrong" i stood up.

"dont you compare me to her!!" eunmin snickered.

"whats the difference?? shes addict to her boyfriend while youre here getting addicting to weed!!" i said.

eunmin snickered.

"then fix our friendship!!" eunmin yelled.

she took another puff of the smokes.

"dont smoke in front of me please" i turned away.

"then leave" eunmin said.

"we're not friends anyways" eunmin snickered.
"i will leave" i said.

i walked out running home now.

never i would have thought that eunmin would say that to me either.....maybe it is true what eunmin said. we're in high school.....our friendship is broken. reality does hit hard right??

 

[Present]

 

my eyes felt swollen. the sky was dark now. the moon lighten up the roads and sidewalks.

"its probably a stupid story" i wiped my eyes.

"no its not" jungkook said.

"what are you true friends??" i asked.

"there will never be true friends in life" i said.

"thats not true" jungkook said.

"they werent your true friends thats all but eventually you will find your true friends" jungkook looked at me.

i just laughed. a small laugh. my tears still running down.

"why is the world so mean??" i covered my face.

jungkook then hugged me. no words. just silence. it was calming.

 

[Next Day]

 

"its your fault you used the money!!" dad yelled.

"i paid the bills!!" mom yelled back.

"i did too" dad said.

i sighed and walked out. too much.....

"bomi!!!!" somebody called out.

i looked behind me. it was jarin and aemin.

"hey guys" i smiled.

"we were just gonna pick you up" jarin said.

"oh" i nodded.

"whats wrong??" aemin asked.

"nothing" i shook my head.

"you dont seem that cheerful today" jarin frowned.

"im fine" i smiled.

"if you have any problems just tell us" aemin said.

i nodded......friends are people we just talk to at school. you never know when theyre gonna leave you even if youre so close to them. even if your bond is so tight. they will leave anytime they want. why do humans have to think so much?? why do humans have to feel pain??

 

[School]

 

"im so stress of school" aemin sighed.

"same" me and jarin nodded.

"oh you know i heard that, that girl there self harms" jarin pointed to the girl in the front.

"really?? thats sad" aemin frowned.

"i know right" jarin nodded.

i just looked at the girl. she seem like me. smiley and always happy. she probably does self harm. i looked at my wrist. i dont self harm.

"there are some people that dont do self harm and is suicidal" i said.

i looked at who it was.

"depress people are always putting on an act" jungkook looked at me.

i nodded. my friends at school will never know what i mean by those words.......but at times i feel really attach to them. why?? why do i have to get attach to people so easily?? i even told myself million of times that i will never trust anyone anymore. here i am though.....trusting and getting attach to my friends now.....friends are bad........
