They were all afraid of the arrival of this year… Year 2666… The year of the “DEVIL’S NUMBER”…
The year rumored to be the destruction of mankind. After the infamous “End of Mayan Calendar 2012” people “learned” from their ancestors and started to be behave wisely. Or as they thought they were… until now… it’s too late.
Year 2661
Signs have started appearing, as much as the government feared. They were lucky that after 2012, citizens were more critical towards such rumors of “End of Mankind”, hence they were given time to formulate a plan without a public uproar.
Foreword
Year 2666
Eric’s heart started thumping hard. A sensation that he thought he was incapable of feeling since 4years ago when his family transformed and he had to kill them before they tried to make him become one of them. He has swore to himself then that he will never feel again for anyone or in fact anything because “feeling” makes one weak and in the current situation, weakness equals death. He is to be a loner; he understands that only with ample of ammunition and gear, he will be formidable so he took every effort to gather them and he did it to the point that a team of 10 will be able to survive an apocalypse. However through the years, he has seen many whom he wanted to save but he kept to himself, brainwashing himself that he has to be a loner, he cannot afford to be weak.
However just a day before, he realized that he will never be able to accomplish such feat as he has fallen deep for this one person in a blink of an eye. He tried to convince himself that he shouldn’t feel for him, he cannot afford to be weak but now that this person is missing, he knows that he will have to accept this fact and find this person fast as his sanity is at its brink of breaking.
