The (sort of) date (I)
The boy who taught me how to feelOn Friday night, I specially picked out a white crotchet dress and a pair of cream sneakers.
I went to bed going through what (I think) will happen the next day –
I’d wake up at 9a.m., have ample time to doll up before changing into my prepared outfit, then have kimbap for breakfast while waiting for Chan Yeol to pick me up and go on our… semi-date?
I think I smiled in my sleep.
Saturday Morning
“AH MI AH! WAKE UP! AH MI AH~~~~~~~~~” The yelling went on for around a minute before I realized it wasn’t a dream.
I ran to the window and saw Chan Yeol waving from the front gate.
“Chan Yeol? What are you doing?! It’s 7 in the morning?!” I shouted.
“I asked you out a week ago! Come on, let’s go jogging!” He bounced around in his sweatpants.
Jogging…………………………………………………………………………..
The activity I enjoy the least.
I barely had time to wash up, much less doll up, and changed into a sports jacket and track pants.
On my way out, I grabbed the crotchet dress hung behind the door and squashed it into my closet. To think I expected it to be a normal date. I should have known nothing is normal with Chan Yeol.
“Ah Mi ah, you look adorable in track pants!” Chan Yeol smiled, coyly this time.
Still secretly upset about the semi-date that is not happening, I stared at him and jogged off.
“I didn’t know you’re so excited to jog!” Chan Yeol caught up.
