What I can't stand. . .
Ranting & RavingIs a writer that deletes comments. It defeats the purpose to ask for comments and criticisms, . . . .then delete the criticisms. What had happened was . . . .
There was a fic I stumbled across. I'm currently on a BTS jag, and the premise sounded interesting enough. In the first chapter, the girl was a who had never even kissed a boy. I rolled my eyes, but okay. In the second chapter, she was a ual beast. She was doing advanced tricks, though it was supposedly her first time. Odd. In the third chapter, she was engaging in a , having and 'dominating' one of the male participants. . . . .All in the same night that she lost her ity. Well, that escalated quickly.......
So, when I pointed out these 'irregularities' and suggested that she might want to space out the encounters for the sake of believability...the author deleted my comment. Like, three seconds after I posted it. I sent a PM asking what the problem was, and she told me I was being too negative, so she deleted the comment. I looked back through and saw that she had done this to several people.
Now, this isn't the first time I've had a comment deleted because I dared to challenge what the was going on in a story. It sure won't be the last. I am prone to call people on their bull when I see it. I want people to do the same to me. Constantly telling me how awesome I am does not help me grow as a writer.
