Carol came over today.

At first, I think that

she's saying goodbye.

I watch her from the window,

my heart growing heavy.

But then she pulls out

a beautiful,

cream-colored envelope.

Sealed, like mine,

with Seoul University.

I feel my legs carry me

down the stairs.

We smile at each other,

and before we know it,

we're jumping up and down 

around the house,

laughing hysterically.

When we finally 

run out of breath,

we flop onto the couch 

and share our stories.

We both leave each other happy.

The next day, we'll 

pack together.

And then, 

Seoul University,

here I come.
