The letter came today.

It arrived in a beautiful

cream-colored envelope,

sealed with those 

beautiful words.

Seoul University.

Mom freaked out,

shrieking at the top of her lungs

and hugging me so hard

I'm seeing spots.

Dad's getting teary

standing in the doorway,

beaming at me.

Mom opens her arms,

and Dad comes over to join our hug.

I haven't seen

my parents this happy since...

never, actually.

I'm glad I can 

bring this joy to them.

After all, they have 

loved me and stood by my side

even when things got rough:

Dad getting fired.

Mom coming home 

beaten up.

Josh dying.

We've been through 

so much together. 

And I love them

so, so much.

Now I'm leaving.

I don't know 

what to do.
