"hey beautiful...it's past midnight..why are you still up?" onew said as he walked towards where tao was standing over the railings in the rooftop of their building..

his head was tilted up seemingly watching the stars...

"oh hey hyung...i..can't sleep...." Tao quickly wiped his eyes to hide that he's been crying but his puffy bags underneath his beautiful eyes

"been crying huh..." onew said as he sat down and leaned himself on the railings... Tao followed and sat beside him

Tao leaned his head on onew's shoulders... "it hurts a lot hyung..."

onew sighed.. he didn't like seeing Tao like this ...he liked him..and if tao is hurting, he is also hurting...

"i know tao...i know it hurts...but it's not the end of the world taotao...if he found someone else..there is probably someone else for you too...just try to open your heart..." onew said

"who would want a lanky man like me..i am scared to take a shower alone, i am scared even with fake ghosts..." Tao chuckled as he described himself as a scardy cat

"i do..."

Tao got up and looked at onew.. "hyung..."

"i like you tao..i really do...i may not be as tall or as handsome as Kris but i sure can show you that someone is willing to love you, risk life and limb for you and promise not to be tempted by any other person even if they are hotter than you, which i doubt there would be such person...." onew said looking at the younger's eyes 

Tao was a little dumbfounded with the sudden confession... he liked onew's company but the older never said anything before, he thought he was just comforting him because of waht he was going through with Kris

"you don't have to give me an answer right now.. just let me show you what i feel... meanwhile i'll give you time to think.. and when you are ready to give me an answer, i'll accept it with an open mind whatever it will be..." onew smiled

"komawo hyung..." Tao smiled too... maybe it won't be so bad..onew was a nice guy...he isn't really far from Kris... maybe...

"Come on you guys! hurry up! we're going to be late and i don't want to be scolded!" Suho yelled making sure everyone in their dorm heard him 

"ne!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" was heard simultaneously as everyone ran around the dorm getting ready...

"i'm ready mama!" Tao said cheerfully as he stood beside suho in the living room

"you seem happier..." suho commented, he was glad Tao found his smile again

just then Tao's phone rang... "hello?..... goodmorning hyung! ....yes i ate breakfast, DO hyung made an awesome breakfast for us this morning...haha hyung stop eating chiken or you'll grow feathers soon...i'll see you later....byebye hyungie~" when the call ended tao put his phone back in his pocket

"Hyungie?" Suho raised his eyebrow at his son "who was that if i may ask my son who rarely tells me anything anymore?"

"oh that was onew hyung hehe... i'm gonna go down to the van first hyung..." Tao said before he skipped to the door not without hugging Lu Han on the way when the latter came out of the bathroom

"what was that?" Lu han said

"apparently our tao tao is happy because of someone who has a chiken addiction haha" Suho chuckled

"that's good...i'll take a chicken over a dragon anytime" Lu Han said before he ran to his room that's when Suho noticed Kris coming out of the kitchen his face sccrunched up like he just recieved his shot

the boys travelled to a magazine photo shoot because the SM artists are being covered by the magazine.. TVXQ, SNSD, SHINEE, and other SM artists were there

"KAI!" taemin happily ran and tackled his childhood friend but were quickly pulled away by a jealous Kyungsoo and Minho

"YAh! stay away from my minnie!" minho growled

"you tell your minnie to stay away from my KAi!" Kyungsoo retorted

TAe and Kai only laughed at their boyfriends...

unfortunately for Kris his "girlfriend" didn't have any work so she was tagging along much to the irritation of Tao's protectors aka Lu Han and Baekhyun

"So this is the infamous Ai Shangzhen" Jessica said eyeing the girl up and down

"Hello...i'm Kris' girlfriend, Ai Shangzhen" the girl bowed to the SNSD girls who looked at her like she had three heads... the idols of course knew who was in a relationship with who no matter if it was a homo or hetero relationship, so the SNSD girls knew Tao and Kris were together..and because of an angry Lu and Baek, it might have reached them about a certain chinese canadian cheating on everyone's favorite panda

"tsch.. tao is better" Yuri said before she turned and walked away

"yup...panda for life!" Tiffany seconded before following yuri

the other girls only gave a half smile and left too

"Sorry about that...you understand though Kris right?" Taeyeon, the SNSD leader said before she bowed and left

"rude much?" Shangzhen said rolling her eyes

"well can you blame them? they love taotao..." Kris said before he walked to the makeup station where the others were getting ready "you sit there quietly..don't make a fuss, just don't do anything" KRis instructed, the girl pouted but did what she was told "whatever" she pulled her phone out and played some game

meanwhile Kris sat on the chair infront of a mirror.. he notice tao was being made up beside him, the younger had his eyes closed... Kris can't help but stare at tao... how he missed those eyes... his cute nose... those cute lips that he wished to kiss again....

"if you continue staring at him i can't  start your make up" the stylist said making Kris come back to his senses... and face the mirror again...

the shoot went well without any hitch... thought they all pretty muched notice onew's presence during exo's time to shoot...

it was Tao and Suho's turn to be shot together...

"what is he doing here?" Kris mumbled to Chanyeol and the latter gestured that he doesn't know..

"omg..this you see that?!" Lu Han squeeled in baekhyun's face

"what? what?" the other asked

"Tao smiled when he looked at onew hyun...and look onew hyung is smiling too!" Lu Han seemed like a fan girl at that moment

"oh...haha..maybe that's why tao has been happier lately...finally he can MOVE ON!" baekhyun made sure Kris heard what he said "i don't mind Tao and Onew hyung together...they make a good pair..and i'm sure onew hyung isn't a cheating bastard like some people i know"

"Baek...stop that" Chanyeol reprimanded his boyfriend thought he understood why baek is still like that

"what? it's true...why someone's not liking the truth?" Baekhyun rolled his eyes at his boyfriend

Kris hung his head low and left the others... Chanyeol could only sight at the sight of his poor bestfriend

"Baek please...yes Kris made a huge mistake and he is an for that but we don't need to remind him all the time" Chanyeol said

"why ar eyou defending him? maybe you have some hidden somewhere too..." Baekhyun glared at his boyfriend and then walked away from him

"baek!" chanyeol tried to call but the other just continued to walk away

"i'm sorry for you yeol..i know it's hard to be between your best friend and your boyfriend.. but just understand why he is like that to kris.." Lu han said before following baekhyun

the shoot was finished with a SM TOWN shoot of all the artists...

"and that's a wrap... good job everyone!" the photographer said

everyone bowed to eachother and said their good byes

as the EXO team  + the girl was walking out, Onew suddenly was calling for Suho

"hey suho..can i borrow Tao for the night?" Onew said, all the members of exo and shinee were looking at him

"where are you two going?" Suho asked

"just dinner and maybe ice cream..." onew replied with a grin

"why are you asking me then hyung?" suho asked confused "shouldn't you ask tao?"

"well..don't suitors need to ask the parent's permission first? and since you  are Tao's mama, i wanted to ask for your permission " onew said

"oh my gee hyun..." SUho chuckled "tao?" he looked at tao and the younger only smiled

"fine.. bring back my son before midnight " Suho said

"thanks!" Onew grinned "shall we taotao?" he held out his hand and everyone was anticipating what tao would do and all their eyes widened when tao took onew's hand and the two walked out  with smiles for eachother

"well.. i guess now we know who our hyung was saving up all this time" KEy chuckled

"what do you mean?" Xiumin asked

"he hasn't been eating a lot of chicken lately.. he said he's saving up for something that's worth more than chicken..." Jong Hyun said

"can you believe that? he finally found something worth more than chicken" Taemin said and everyone chuckled except for a certain ex boyfriend

"let's go out" Kris said before dragging a confused shangzhen with him

"where are they going?" Se Hun asked

"Kris is going to be EX Hunting..." chanyeol mumbled and soon eyes were on him "what? he's goign to follow tao obviously"

"he better not ruin anything for tao or i'll kick his  down the han river" Baekhyun said

Truth be told, Kris tried his best to secretly follow tao and onew much to the displeasure of the girl

"yah! why are we following them?!" shangzhen protested

"just shut up and follow!" Kris yelled back

Kris and the girl followed onew and tao from the restaurant they had dinner with to the ice cream parlor to when the two went to the han river and had a walk...

Kris was boiling with jealousy everytime onew did something sweet like wiping tao's face when the younger eats a lil bit messily or holding on tao when they cross the street

"that should be me" kris sulked in his head

"come on .. let's go somewhere else" the girl tried but she was only told to leave if she wanted to, but of course she didn't fearing Kris might go and take Tao back

at the Han river, Kris and Shangzhen were looking from a far, they weren't able to hear anything the two talked about

but Kris tears suddenly fell..

Shangzhen looked at Kris and for the first time she saw the real Kris, someone who wasn't afraid to cry, someone who can be broken too...

She looked at where Kris was looking...

there she saw Tao in Onew's arms....
