Kris heard voices in the living room, Chanyeol was nice enough to let him sleep in his and baek's room since his boyfriend slept in Tao's

He slowly made his way out to see what it was all about and saw all the other members and a few luggages by the door

"you take care of yourselves there ok?"   Kyungsoo said

"Xiumin hyung, please take care of them..i'm sorry i also decided to go with them..i just can't stay here knowing Tao is not ok.." Suho apologized to their eldest

"don't worry..we'll be ok here..i'll make sure the house is in order while you're gone" Xiumin said

"where are you going?" kris asked cautiously

"what's it to you jerk!" Luhan spat

Kris saw Tao and he was about to approach him when Baekhyun got in his way

"i want to talk to Tao" Kris said

"i can't believe you still have the confidence after what you did" Baekhyun said through gritted teeth

"hyung.." Tao touched Baekhyun's shoulder and smiled at him..

Baekhyun moved away and kris approached Tao immidiately..

"Tao.."

"you can stop lying now ge.."

"i can explain..."

"i just one to know one thing..."

"Tao.."

"how long has it been going on?"

"Tao..."

"..."

"a few months..." kris lowered his head "but it doesn't mean anything..she .she doeasn't mean anything..i love you.."

Tao looked at him..and even if he just wanted to believe that and forget that Kris actually cheated on him..he can't..he just can't..

"you're free..." tao uttered

"Tao..what are you saying..." Kris looked at him with wide eyes

"you're free ge..we're over..." with that Tao turned around and hugged the others who were staying. "hyung's let's go.."

and one by one Tao, Suho, Lay, and Luhan went out their dorm, Luhan not forgetting to remind Kris that he was a Jerk before he left...

when the other's were gone, Kris turned to the remaining ones..Baekhyun immidiately left dragging Chanyeol with him..Xiuchen and Kaisoo decided to go food shopping for the remaining members...

Kris sat beside sehun in the living room..

"you know i hate you right now since Luhan hyung and the others had to leave because of your stupidity..." Sehun said without looking at his hyung

"i'm still your hyung" Kris uttered

"you are.. but at this moment, all the respect i have for you has been reduced to almost nothing" Sehun replied without thinking if his words were hurting kris

"i'm sorry..."

"it's not me who you need to apologize to..."

"but he left"

"not my problem" Sehun scoffed before leaving the elder one alone..

Kris burried his face in his palms..tears streaming from his eyes...

Once the group were in the van to the airport, Tao's strong facade faded and he cried once again in Suho's arms..

"He's such an idiot" Luhan scoffed "thinking that he can get away with it by sweet talking tao?"

"calm down..your angry words are not helping tao in any way" lay told his gege

the trip to China was Quiet..but the hyungs didn't complain as they know Tao needed it...

"ZiTao..." Tao's mom called as he saw his son coming off the Van they hired to go to Tao's hometown

"mama.." Tao run to his mother's arms

"you didn't tell me you were coming home.." Tao's dad said

"oh.. we just thought of coming for a visit..by the way if you remember my EXO members.. Suho Gege, Luhan Gege and Lay Gege.." Tao introduced his friends and the boys bowed to them with smiles on their faces

"where's the others? where's Kris Ge?" Tao's younger brother asked and the EXO members looked at eachother

"uhm they decided to spend their vacation somewhere else..and uhm Kris decided to uhm go home to Canada..." Tao lied and his hyungs understood that what happened was something Tao wanted to keep from his family..and that they were simply there for a vacation..

"go take them to your room, i'm sorry you have to share Tao's room.. our house is only small..." Tao's mom said apologetically

"it's alright auntie..we are the ones who should be apologizing for imposing in your home and coming in such late notice.." Luhan said, Suho wasn't really speaking since he doesn't really speak chinese and would only know his basics

"go and rest, i will call you when the food is ready..i bet you are tired" Tao's mom waved them off and the boys

After dinner Suho insisted that he and Lay can do the dishes even though Tao's mom wanted to refuse..

Luhan found Tao sitting out in the garden looking at the stars..

"hey..." Luhan sat beside the younger one 

Tao leaned his head and rested it on Luhan's shoulder "let's stay like this for now hyung..." he said luhan nodding knowing that tao wasn't ready to talk yet..

Back in Korea...

Chanyeol didn't see Kris when they came back and he thought maybe he was at the rooftop since it's the only place Kris and Tao would go to when they are tired or stressed..

"hey" chanyeol said as he sat beside Kris who's eyes were looking at the distance

"i can't believe Tao broke it off..." Kris sighed..he just recently stopped crying so his eyes were puffy...

"i can't blame him.. you cheated and lied to his face" chanyeol replied

"i know..." Kris could only lower his head in shame..

"why did you do it hyung?" the younger asked

"i..i don't know..it started from a message from her on wiebo..we chatted..she came to visit..and next thing i know i am in an affair with her..." Kris explained

"i'm not really asking how it started..i''m asking why did you do it? why did you cheat on tao?" Chanyel said again

"i don't know..i guess i got caught up on the thrill of having an affair?"

Chanyeol looked at Kris like the older had three heads.. he can't believe what he was hearing and he was sure that if Suho or Luhan heard this kris will be flying off this rooftop already

"don't you love Tao anymore?"

"i do..i love him so much..you all know that..."

"but you still cheated.."

"i know.."

"that means your love wasn't strong enough for you to be able to get this thing to go on for months and then lie to tao when you got caught"

"that's not true..i love Tao so much.. he is my life and i regret this a lot.."

"i'm not sure if i can even believe what you're saying even if you are my bestfriend.."

"what do i do now? i ..i can't lose Tao..."

"i don't know hyung..you got yourself into this mess..you get yourself out of it..you're lucky Suho and Luhan hyung didn't Kill you"

"i know...i regret what i did..a lot..."
