"To be honest, I don't have any respect for him." Those words repeated in his mind. Quickly, he began thinking of a snarky comeback to not lose as much face as he already has.

"We share a room together, I'll teach him what respect is!" He quickly interjected. The other's laughed at his quick, witty comment but for Hoya it was only half hearted, small awkward chuckle for broadcasting purposes. Because of what their little maknae just said, he didn't feel the need to smile anyone. Even if it wasn't a real smile, he still had to do it.

He knew that their maknae wasn't the type to depend on people despite his girlish ways and features. Not to mention that 'S' line he possess. However, he always thought that their maknae would have some sort of respect for on of them, in this case, Hoya himself. He was shocked to find out the truth about why Sungjong 'respected' him. Hoya bit his bottom lip, wondering what would be the perfect way to discipline the maknae.

They carried on with their interview, Hoya began to loosen up a bit as their conversation began to take another route. Small glances at Sungjong was what he did to make sure he wasn't thinking of another sneaky comment to make. The interview had ended on a good note, leaving the other members proud of their work. For the rest of the day, they had the unfortunate event of parting ways. Sungyeol and Myungsoo were to film their individual dramas, Woohyun and Sunggyu would be going to film a variety show. Hoya wasn't too sure to what it as since he wasn't really one to focus on all the member's conversations. He and Dongwoo were to further promote INFINITE H, that left the maknae with nothing to do but to guard the house.

They left the building where the interview was held. Immediately, everyone took in a deep breath in and out. Finally out of the little room where they had been place for the last 4 hours. Hoya knew that only 10-20 minutes of the interview were to be broadcast, knowing how much the PD were to cut afterwards since most of it was them thinking of answers to each question asked. All of them then turned to face the mankae, knowing he'll be lonely in the dorm without anyone else there.

"Be a good boy and look after the dorm, ok?" Myungsoo went over and ruffled Sungjong's hair. It wasn't a very nice sight for Hoya, knowing that the second maknae harboured some kind of feels for Sungjong. If they were love or brotherly love, he didn't know but he knew that if he wasn't there to keep an eye on those two, things might turn for the worst. Sungjong pouted but gave a nod.

"I'm not a dog, Myungsoo hyung!" Sungjong scolded Myungsoo, pushing his hand away from his head. Myungsoo gave a light chuckle before walking over to the van he and Sungyeol were to share. He gave quick wave at the members with Sungyeol at the back telling him to hurry up as they were going to be late. They slid the door over and closed it, their manager driving off as soon as he knew the 2 were strapped in. Some part of Hoya was glad Myungsoo had to run of in a hurry.

The next to go were Sunggyu and Woohyun. They decided to take it slow since they were quite early and the studio where they were going to film wasn't too far from where they were, unlike Hoya's and Myungsoo's who were 1-2 hours way by car from where thy were. Hoya was thankful to know that Dongwoo were going to be with him since the older always had everything in his bag. If Hoya was going to start feeling uncomfortable, Dongwoo would have exactly what he needed.

"See you later kiddo!" Sunggyu waved goodbye and quickly jumped into the van, not before pushing Woohyun in first. Woohyun was always the lazy type who preferred to run around without a care in the world. He loved dragging members to game stops and spending all their free time there. One member he would always drag was either Sunggyu or Sungjong. One reason was because Sunggyu would never really say no to Woohyun, especially to that aegyo of his. Damn that aegyo! Second reason was because Sungjong was the maknae so whenever Sunggyu said no, which were rare, he would go and skip to he maknae, knowing there was no chance in hell he would say no. In Sungjong's case, aegyo was no needed to make him go to the game stop. This was also the reason why Hoya wasn't very fond of Woohyun, he always stole the maknae whenever he wanted to go and have some fun with him. It was only fair that Sungjong stay with him for a while but no! Woohyun would always whine and say that Sungjong respected him the most so it was only fair that Woohyun got to go out with him. Now we all know Woohyun can't use that excuse again.

"Bye hyung!" Sungjong smiled with glee as he watched the leader and Woohyun leave, the black van soon disappearing in their sight. Last but no least, it was Hoya and Dongwoo's turn. Hoya found himself dreading every second that came as he watched their black van pull in front the side. But with every second the van took to leave, the more time it allowed the fans to spot them. At this moment, no fans were seen as it was only 10am, most of them were at school, whilst those who decided to skip school to see them. There was a large case of those fans finding out what their schedule for the day, or even month was, even before the idols knew themselves. All the managers for different groups are trying to fin out how these fans got their sources but it was hard. That person was very good. The only way to protect the idols were to falsely write in their schedules an hour later than when they were to finish. This was it let them quickly move the idols to their next schedule without being spotted however, some of those fans had spotted this and would come an hour or 2 earlier. Hoya felt sorry for their manager, thinking how much he has to go through in order to keep them safe.

"Hyung! You should get going now! The fans will be here soon!" Sungjong hurried the two along as he could hear the cheers and shouts from a far away crowd get louder. He was so sure they belonged to one of their fan groups. Dongwoo jumped in, seeing a ground of girls from the far end of the road, some even in taxis getting closer to him. Hoya knew that Sungjong's van would be here a little late, over hearing their manger speaking on the phone just before the interview ended. Having INFINITE split up and go to their separate schedules was never a nice thing for the managers, having to time the vans perfectly and have them come one after another to avoid traffic. It wasted time and that meant more time for the fans to come.

"No, I'll wait for your van to arrive, then I'll leave." Sungjong pouted and used all his strength to push Hoya in the van. Of course, Hoya didn't budge since Sungjong was quite weak.

"Dongwoo hyung, help me." Dongwoo didn't want to leave Sungjong alone but any longer and there was a chance for them to be late for their next schedule. Dongwoo sighed and held onto Hoya's arm, pulling him backwards. Dongwoo was a lot strong which made Hoya almost fall back, landing in the van. Sungjong pushed Hoya's legs in and slammed the door to the van in.

"Sungjong!" Hoya tried to sit up but Dongwoo was holding him down. The van began to move, Hoya could see the large amount of fans running towards where their van was just a second ago. The manager who was driving did his best to go as slow as possible without hitting anyone before stepping ion the accelerator and driving off once they were cleared. Hoya looked at the rear view mirror and could still see a bit of Sungjong in the corner. The fans were slowly crowing him, lucking security came and blocked them. However, they never really did  good job, there were too many fans for the 2-3 body guards they had. He hoped Sungjong were to remain untouched and safe.

He sat back in his car seat, finally away from that place. He took a deep breath, closing his eyes and left his seat belt untouched. Dongwoo couldn't help but look over at his friend in worry.

"I'm sure he'll be fine. The security guards will protect him." Hoya said nothing. His breathing kept him calm as he wished his schedules would end soon so he could go home as soon as possible.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Every second of every minute during every hour killed him. He never liked it when he wasn't with Sungjong. He and Dongwoo was dragged all over the country to do small concerts, variety shows and even appearing on Weekly Idol. Today had been a long day, it was now finally time to go home.
Hoya found himself annoying the manager to drive quicker. It wasn't his fault, the manager seemed to be going at a snails pace. He couldn't sit still, knowing that Sungjong was home right now made him nervous. Sungjong hadn't contacted him at all during their time apart. It was surprising since the maknae would usually send him a few text massages to cheer him on and such. One reason why he got scolded quite a bit by Dongwoo, because he didn't seem quite himself when the camera was rolling. However, he did get one from Sunggyu telling them to be careful in their next schedule since Sungjong was apparently injured. Another reason why Hoya was so absentminded.
"Don't worry, we're nearly there." Dongwoo cooed, trying to calm the somewhat hyperactive Hoya down. Hoya nodded and sat back in his seat, taking in deep breaths in an out to calm himself. All he could think about was Sungjong and if he was worried. Another text massage arrive, quickly he took his phone and read it.
To Hoya
From Myungsoo
We're home now, Sungjong seems fine, no need to worry.
Of course Myungsoo was going to be the one to check up on the maknae first. Myungsoo had always been either the motherly type or the possessive type. On the other hand, Hoya was glad to receive a text about the maknae's condition since he knew Sungjong wouldn't text him himself.
The van parked itself in the car park just underneath their dorm. As soon as it came to park, Hoya opened the door and jumped out, leaving a confused Dongwoo. He walked as fast as he could to the doors without running since it would make it seem as if he was a weirdo. He punched in the code and opened the door with haste. He took his shoes off and saw Sungyeol in the kitchen with Woohyun.
"Oh, hey hyung! Welcome home!" He greeted. Hoya grunted at him in place of a greet as his eyes scanned the place for Sungjong. He didn't seem to be in the living room of the dining room so he must be at their shared bedroom. Hoya adjusted his angle and aimed straight for his and Sungjong's room.
"What's wrong with Hoya?" Sungyeol asked, Woohyun shook his head.
"By they way, I'll telling him that you didn't call him hyung!" Woohyun stuck his tongue out.
"Hey!" Sungyeol shouted but was ignored by Woohyun.
Hoya ignored the two and opened the door to his room. He couldn't see that well as all the lights were switched off but the lump underneath the blankets on Sungjong's bed told him he was there.
"Sungjong?" He called out in hushed tones. The maknae shuffled a bit before ultimately sitting up.
"Hyung?" He rubbed his eyes. Hoya ran over to him and placed his hands on Sungjong's cheeks, moving his head back and forth.
"What are you doing hyung?"
"I'm trying to see if you were injured anywhere."
"I'm fine hyung, really. I slipped and fell, that's all. There's a bruise but nothing more." Hoya sighed and let go of the maknae's face, but pulled Sungjong in for a hug.
"Hyung?" Sungjong could hear Hoya's fast heartbeat as he face was directly on Hoya's broad chest. He did his best to stop himself from blushing, luckily it was dark.
"Next time I say that I'm going to wait with you, I'm going to wait with you. Ok?" Hoya's tone wasn't angry but sharp. He didn't want Sungjong to be injured, even if it was just a little bruise. As the hyung, he was meant to protect the youngest and today, he had failed to do that.
He felt a small nod of Sungjong's head before the maknae buried his face in his chest. Hoya couldn't help but smile at the cute maknae.
'He might not respect me but I respect him greatly. This I won't tell him but respect or not, there is no denying that I love him for who he is.'
