"What do you mean you have to leave?" said Nakta to one of his best friends, Dongsung, who also goes by the nick Gohn.
"I got a scholarship for studying in the US," He replied with a fake smile, "It is a big opportunity for me to improve my singing". Gohn is a tall, beautiful boy – wait, not a boy – a man. He dedicated his life to singing, and always likes to challenge himself. Even though he was very amusing, among his school mates he was remote, and had only few close friends. He met Nakta on their first day in middle school, when some kid bullied Nakta by calling him a camel. Gohn stood up for him, and that's how they met and became so close – from then on, his nickname was Nakta (Camel in Korean).
"Well, high school is over only in six months, until than you'll have to sattle with the school talent show".
"Do you think I have a chance of winning?"
"Well, there are those 4 blonde dancers that everyone are calling The Wizards. I have seen one of the practices."
"And..?"
"Nah, you're gonna lose."
"Thank you for your belief in me."
"You're welcome."

Two weeks later, the talent show day have finally arrived. The performing students were getting ready backstage, or talking with their friends or family. Gohn was chatting with Nakta and Seogoong, another friend of them, who is always in a good mood and energetic – everyone liked to be around him.
"Are you exciting?" Seogoong asked Gohn enthusiastically.
"No."
"I'm exciting."
"You're always exciting, Even from food."
"Mostly from food." Nakta added, and pinched Seogoong's chubby neck. Seogoong greened and tapped his belly. "Well, it's food, what's not to be excited about?"
All three of them laughed. Gohn fixed his hair, pulled down his black shirt and looked at the performing list.
"When are you up?" Seogoong asked.
"I'm fourth, right after… Jenissi?" Gohn did not know that name.
"I think it's that guy Taeyang, from senior year." Seogoong thought deeply before answering.
"Jenissi is a dumb nick." Gohn stated. Nakta nodded smiling.
"Remind me what your nickname is again?" Seogoong asked them while giggling.

Before Gohn could answer him with anger, one of the teacher came in and yelled that the show is about to begin, and everyone who is not performing should go and take their seats. Seogoong and Nakta said good luck and went to their seats in the back rows. Gohn was never excited from those competitions – he liked to have competitors that will challenge him – winning other people at performing contests just gave him confidence – confidence that he is good. No, not good, THE BEST.

The Wizards performed first, and came down from the stage exhausted and hardly breathing. After them there was a guy named Chanyeol who performed with his band. When they left the stage, Jenissi went up with a microphone. Gohn looked at the boy's face. He felt like he was into his eyes when they made eye contact by mistake, and Jenissi looked away. The music started, and the beat dropped – Jenissi was rapping – Gohn have never heard such a weird, cool and amazing voice as Jenissi had.

With an adorable pure smile. Jenissi went off stage, while the crowd is clapping loudly. Gohn was standing at the side of the stage, still staring at the place were Jenissi stood.
"Gohn. You're up now." A voice from behind whispered, and it was the teacher. Confused, he stepped on to the stage, and all of his confidence flew away from him each step. He wasn't worried about losing against Jenissi but – something about that boy bothered him. He still wasn't sure if it was good or bad. The music started, and with his "performance face", which was just a heart-brokened and painful stare, he started singing into his microphone. In the back rows, his friends were waving with their arms to make a lame wave of hands.

The performances are all over, and all of the contesters stood next to each other on stage, so the judges will declare the winner. His confidence started to get back to him when the host (just Mr. Lee, the math teacher) repeated the names of the participants and when he got to "Gohn" his friends started whistling and shouting in the back. He smiled at them, until he felt someone bumping into his shoulder. It was Jenissi.
"Your voice is really good", he complimented Gohn, popping it out of no where.
"Thanks. I guess…", oh no, not those weird feelings again. He wasn't just losing his confidence, he also felt insecure, and his arm was shaking.
"And the winner is…" silent in the auditorium.
"The Wizards, for their dance performance!" when Mr. Lee shouted their name happily, Gohn kept smiling and clapped for them while they bowed to the teacher thankfully. He looked to his right – Jenissi was still there. He still doesn't know how to to define his weird feelings – but that’s just because he never fell in love.

"I told you you'd lose." Nakta petted Gohns head, and even though Nakta was higher, there wasn't much gap between them.
"And that Jenissi really surprised me… who knew he could rap?" Sangdo, another friend of them, joined the conversation.
"Yeah… he was... very… yeah." Gohn lost his words when he saw Jenissi passing behind his friends, sending him last glance of mixed
emotions before he disappears behind the auditorium door.
"I still can't believe you are leaving in six months." Seogoong leaned on Gohn's shoulder..
"Me niether, Seog-ie." but instead of thinking about his friends, Jenissi's image popped in his mind.

Like we all know – Gohn likes challenges… but not the mental ones. He had no experiences with emotions or love life generally, and all of this made him feel unsure about himself.
What's wrong with me. He thought, and walked out of the auditorium with his friends, drawing attention from girls who liked Gohn performance – but he didn't care, he just didn't care.
