I'm wondering why I hadn't clicked upvote right after I read this the first time. Must've been a lapse in judgment. Anyhow, this had been a very nice light read despite having featured baek's dilemma. Three stars for chanyeol's punch hahaha. 'punchbaek' indeed.
Chapter 3: ......ohmygosh. :((( idk but i love this so much but but ughhhhhh its soooo good i want to cry.
this is my favorite line:
“I love him but, I think, deep down, I hate him. I hate him for showing me things I didn’t have, things I grew up without. And it’s so stupid because I am so grateful to Chanyeol. I mean, I moved to this school just so we can breathe the same air but I can’t even…bring myself to go and see him face to face.”
and i love how baekhyun is that lost man trying to find himself without chanyeol this and chanyeol that and how chanyeol punched baekhyun because he was so dkfjgdkfj and how baekyeol before college were something like best friends but then theres definitely something more blooming that baekhyun didnt want to pursue because he was scared and chanyeol doesnt know what to call their relationship and just wow i really love the dynamics in this. but i really really love baekhyuns character, because it hits home with me. so much so.
idk but this is the best one-shot ive read in the week. /all the feeeeeeels thank you for writing this!
