They tell me I'm too young to understand
They say I'm caught up in a dream

She watches as the door closes shut, staring and hoping she was just having a nightmare, and that soon she will wake up from it.    

It's not a dream.

She runs away to her room escaping from the nightmare. She stops running as soon as she steps on the first staircase, and looks over at her parents. "I...I HATE YOU!" her voice trails off and her eyes break into tears.

"Soojung!" Her brother yells.

"You're just a child, and we're your parents. We're here to tell you what's right and what's wrong. We are trying to protect you." Her mom explains.

"...by hurting me?" Her voice breaks.

"When you're older, you'll understand." Her father speaks up. His sons help him sit back down.

"Older....huh?" Tears continously run down her cheeks. She walks up the rest of the staircase to her room and slams her bedroom door hard enough so that her family can purposely hear her anger.

For minutes, she thinks back about what just happened downstairs, and her legs give out. She falls down leaning towards the door, looking soulless. Soon 10 minutes already pass by. She remembers her cellphone is sitting inside her pocket. She moves around a bit trying to reach for it. She unlocks her cellphone and looks through her contacts.

"Hey."

"Yixing?"

"I'm sorry-"

"No! I'm sorry too!" She pushes.

"No. I mean, I'm sorry, I...I can't talk right now, I'm driving."

Her eyes look disappointed. "...Oh...okay....Call me when you get home. Please." Her voice sounds dissappointed.

"Don't leave me...." she sobbs the sentence as she closes her eyes.

[OUTSIDE OF HER HOUSE]

Parked across the street from her house, Yixing sits in his car with teary eyes looking at his cellphone.

"I'm sorry, Soojung."
