Sehun’s POV

Taeyeon and I have been walking for some time now. We are nearing our neighborhood and yet Taeyeon hasn’t spoken of anything. Usually this girl would have been blabbering nonstop. It is so weird. And what’s with her statement awhile ago? Why does it upset her to be my best friend and childhood friend? Does she not want me to be by her side anymore? Aish! Just when I had started to gain some courage

“Tae-“ I was cut off when she spoke

“Sehun ssi” she spoke as she stopped walking. Finally, her voice! I just love hearing my name from her lips

“Yes?” I stopped on my tracks like her

We stood there in silence. I was staring at her while she was staring at her feet. What might she be thinking?

“is there something wrong Tae?” I asked worriedly. I really want to know what’s bothering her.

“Sehun… I…uhmmm” she said finally facing me. And damn those eyes! Taeyeon’s eyes are the most beautiful pair of eyes; I think it contains special powers to out lives of human beings

“y-y-yeah?” oh damn, now I’m stammering.

“I think my Taeyeon noona also likes you” suddenly what Jongin said before replayed in my head. ! Could it be? But, its impossible. Why would she like me? Aish! Why am I so negative?

“Se-“ Taeyeon was cut off when suddenly

“Sehunnie ~!!!!!” both Taeyeon and I looked at the person who was calling me out. To my surprise, it was my half brother Luhan.

‘Wow, nice timing there brother. She was about to confess and you cut her off’ I thought – but, what? Confess? Aish, why am I assuming too much?  -_-

“I’m so glad you’re finally home brother! No one was home and I can’t get in” he whined. Ugh, can’t this person read the situation? Psssh, calm down Sehun… calm down

“How come you didn’t tell us you were coming hyung?” I asked

“I wanted to surprise you” he flashes his innocent smile. I really want to hit this guy now

“uhm, Sehun ssi…” Taeyeon butted in “who is he?” she asked. Oh, Taeyeon haven’t met him yet and I don't particularly talk about him. We're just half brothers and he lives in China. We are not in that good relationship unlike Taeyeon and her siblings. There are just things that can't be settled with me and Luhan

“He is –“

“I am Xi Luhan, Sehun’s older brother. And you are?” Luhan introduced himself

“I’m Taeyeon, Kim Taeyeon”

“what a lovely name you have Tae” Luhan said as he kissed Taeyeon’s hand. As I was witnessing that scene my anger level suddenly rose up. This man just knows how to piss me off

“his girlfriend, right?” Luhan suddenly commented. Damn this person!

“a-a-ani, we’re just friends” Taeyeon said faking a smile. Why is she faking it?

“oh, really? Be my girlfriend then?”

Taeyeon’s POV

“Yah! Hyung, what nonsense are saying?! Come on let’s leave” Sehun said as he dragged away Luhan

“bu-but, I was still… about to… confess… Sehun ssi” I heaved out a sigh as I saw Sehun and Luhan enter their house

“Who was that?”

“Oh my gosh! Jongin, you startled me there” I said

“oh, mianhe noona. So, who was that?” Jongin asked again

“Luhan, Sehun’s older brother”

“ah... so that person spoiled your confession huh?” my eyes widened with what Jongin said. what?! he heard it?! “hmm, I was right after all that you like him. Don’t worry noona, you can try again tomorrow” he added while patting my shoulder and left me standing dumbfounded.

-later that night-

“Taengoo, can you please buy these things at the convenient store?” Mom asked

“Yeah, sure mom” I got her list and started to walk towards the convenient store. As I was walking around the convenience store looking for the things mom wrote someone suddenly called me.

“Tae?”

I turned around to see who it was, it was Luhan.

“oh Luhan ssi, annyeong!” I greeted

“shopping?” he asked as he went closer

“yeah, you?”

“same” he flashed a smile. They are brothers, alright. The two of us shopped together and walked home together. He offered to carry my shopping bag for me.

“Luhan  ssi-“

“yah! I think you should call me oppa, I am after all five years older than Sehunnie” he complained

“eh, you’re five years older?” I asked and he furrowed his eyebrows “I thought you were my age, I mean just a year older or two” I explained

“ah, it’s cause I have a baby face Taengoo” he said showing an aegyo

“yeah. probably Luhan oppa, but I think its more like because you don’t act your age” I reasoned out

“aigoo, you’re so mean Taengoo” I chuckled at his cute whining.

"you know if people see the two of you together they would think Luhan oppa is the dongsaeng while Sehun was the hyung"

"indeed Taengoo. A lot of girls would say that Sehunnie has a more appropriate oppa face rather mine" he agreed

“hey, who gave you the permission to call me Taengoo?” i pouted

“oh, I just felt like it” he flashed another wide smile

“aigoo, such a decisive person oppa” I stated and we both laughed but we didn’t laugh for long as I heard a familiar voice

“Hyung? Taeyeon?”

“Whaddup Sehunnie?” Luhan smiled while Sehun just stood where he was with his somewhat confused and pissed face
