[Flashback]
[15 years ago]

I ran away from the police that want to caught me and put me bak to the orphanage. It !! i don't want to be there

"Ouch!!" I fell on my as I bump into something. When i open my eyes I saw a girl crying on the ground, she wore a pigtail hairstyle and weeping

"hey, don't cry," I try to calm her down but she keep crying, I help her to stand up and bring her to the side of the road. We found a bench and sat there.

"Don't cry. here, i'll give you this!" I showed her the candy that i had on my pocket. She put her hands down from her face. I could see her now, she's really cute. She looked confused and hesitating about should she took it or not.

"Is that for me?" that girl finally speaks, oh she's korean. that's why she didn't understand what i'm saying.

"Ne, this is for you," i said to her in korean.

"Kamsahamnida~" She smiled brightly and her bubbly cheek flushed pink. I know I'm too young for this but i do know that she's really cute

"what's your name?"

"Sangseok-eyo~"

"Sangseokie? I'm Jiyong," I stretched my hands to meet hers, she shake mine. "how old are you?"

"I'm 6 years old," oh,! so she's just a year younger than mine

"WHERE IS HE!?"

"THERE! I SEE HIM THERE!!" i looked to the end of the road and there's the polices that chase me before. I unconsciously grab sangseok's hand and dragged her away from there, running with me

"H-Hey! ...where..we..." she asked between breath

"Just come!" then we ran faster.

Until we arrived in an old warehouse it looks scary. But there's a used bed and a radio on it. must be someone left this in here.

"this is a good place to hide..." i said as i stepped down. I looked at her with confused face plastered on her cute face

"Are you a bad person jiyong?" she suddenly asked me that makes me startled, i just let out a chuckle and took her hand, dragging her to sit on the bed with me

"no i'm not. they are the bad ones. you know, those who chase us before,"

"really?" i nodded at her question.

"why are you wondering alone in the streets sangseok-ah?"

"I don't know..." she plays with her fingers and looking down, i raise an eyebrow to this kid,

"are you lost?" i questioned to her, she shook her head

"Jiyoung unnie must be looking for me now," she said under her breath. this kid is weird, but cute. and who the hell is jiyoung unnie?

"You can sleep here if you want, i'll be protecting you. until you met your unnie again," I smiled to her, she smiled back at me.


3 days passed without a single person looking for her. we wandered in the street when I first met her but no one is coming to look for her. Is she left here all by herself? Poor her. she and I getting close to each other. I somehow like her. she's cute, bubbly and nice.

"just go to sleep now. we'll continue search for your unnie tomorrow" I said to her as I tucked her in the bed. she nodded

"good night jiyongie~" I smiled at her then went to my bed, as in a piles of used sheets that i found in the warehouse also.

a loud noise woken me up not so long after I sleep.

"THERE THEY ARE!!" I jumped on the bed as I saw 2 policeman in the entrance of the warehouse gate running for us. I swiftly went to Sangseok's bed and wake her up,

"WAKE UP!!!" she woke up by my 2nd calling, "WE HAVE TO GET OUT FROM HERE!!"

"Jiyongie?" she tried to aks but i just dragged her to the back of the warehouse as the sound of the steps from the policeman getting closer. I ran with all my might but one of the policeman catches us and my grip from Sangseok's hand loosen

"YOU CAN'T RUN AGAIN YOUNG BOY!!" the one who held me said, Sangseok crying and yelling my name to save her, i managed to bite this policeman hands on me hard until he fell on his knees, I managed to let go of sangseok from the other one's grip and ran but suddenly she tripped . her head and neck hitted the edge of the wooden

"SANGSEOK!!" she lose her consciousness. I can't carry her, i hesitated between running away or helping her, i'm really confused! but i know i totally don't want to go in the child jail or anything anymore

"I'm sorry," i whispered at her unconscious body then ran away when the policeman about to catch me. I ran with all my strength, my feet leading me nowehre to go but i know i must ran. I feel so sorry for leaving her there..
