What Happens in College Stays in College

Another story about KrisHo. Set in college as the pair goes through 4 years of college as classmates, desk mates, lab partners, teammates, and more.
Foreword
I put my bag down and settle on the chair. Today has been busy, but I still have to study for the Physics test tomorrow. Why can't I be gifted in this subject? Everyone's getting A's and B's, and here I am stuck with a D.
Throwing those thoughts away, I grab my laptop out of my bag and get my notebook and calculator ready. Let's get this party started!
10 minutes into the review, I can already feel my eyelids getting heavier with each word I read on the screen. Be strong Suho!
5 minutes later, I deem it’s hopeless for me to continue this. I get up, pack all my things and head out the coffee corner to get myself some iced red eye. I can’t afford to fail this test, but at this point getting a C seems like a dream.
I place my order and head towards an empty table. Waiting for my coffee to be done, I look around the corner. Nobody's there except for a guy who has his head down, looking so focused in whatever he's doing. He looks familiar. Where have I seen him before?
And then he lifts his head. Oh, I know this guy! He's in all my classes, but we've never really spoken to each other. He's always alone and he always sits at the front while I'm all the way at the back of the class. I don't know much about him except that he always gets the highest mark in all the tests. A genius, huh?
We stare at each other for a few seconds before he looks back down to his books. At the same time I hear my name being called. Getting up to get my coffee, I'm thinking of going to greet him. He can't be that bad of a guy, right? Even if he won’t talk to me, it's not like I'm going to lose anything. I glance at him.
Oh well, here goes nothing.
"Hey, you're Kris, right?"
He looks at me and nods. "And you're Suho, am I right?"
"You know me?"
"Of course. You are in all my classes." I stare at him. "Now, are you gonna sit or do you plan to stare at me all night?"
Taken aback by that, I slowly place my coffee cup on the table and sit on the chair opposite him. I sip at my coffee slowly and look at the notebook he has in front of him.
"Physics?"
He nods. Without looking at me, he asks, "Aren't you supposed to be studying, too? Or are you done with it?"
I laugh. I wish the latter would be true.
"Nothing makes sense to me. I mean, I got most of my homework done right but when I'm in the exam hall nothing ever come out right." I take another sip. "I'm just hopeless in Physics, I guess."
"I can help you."
Huh?
Getting no response from me, he lifts his head and look straight at my frozen face. "I said I can help you. I'm almost done with this anyway, so I have some time if you need my help."
"You sure? I do need help, but I don't wanna bother you, y'know."
He smirks. "No worries. Nothing's wrong with helping a lost lamb, right?"
A lost lamb? What?
