*A week later*

Junhyung POV

“Yah! Who’s that girl?” Doojoon asked me.

“What?” I stuffed kimchi fried rice into my mouth.

“Tch..You’re looking at her for 5 minutes already” he pointed his finger towards CL who sits not far from our table.

“Just eat your food!” I told him.

“Who is she?” he persisted.

“Haish..CL..she went to that competition with me last week..”

“Whoah..really? Yaa..if my football match won’t clash with that comp, I will accept Mrs. Kim offer tho and i can be

your match maker then..!” he laughed.

“Haha..You wish!”

“Why? Haish..Junhyung ah, if you like her, just tell her then..”

“What make you think that I like her?”

“Well…simple! Action speaks louder than words”

“When is your next match?”

“This Sunday and don’t change the subject you, pabo!” he flicked my forehead with his fingers.

“Yah! What’s wrong with you?”

“I hope that make you realize your feeling. If your past story won’t let you to confess, let me smack your head

this time..” he wanted to touch my head but I stopped him.

“Think about it!” he added and continued eating his meal. I sighed and I took a glance at CL once again.

*Flashback*

“I love you…!” I told the girl in front of me. After 2 years of be friends with her, I finally got the courage to make a

confession. She froze in her position and I leaned forward to kiss her but she gently pushed me back. I saw her tears fell.

“Junhyung ah, I’m sorry” she sobbed.

“Why?”

“Its too late…”

“Soojin….”

“Sorry, l already belong to someone..”

“Huh?”

“I loved you too but you make me waiting for too long"

“But why?”

“Ask yourself Junhyung!” she walked away from me and I saw a guy approached her and they walked together holding

their hands. I felt my heart been stabbed.

*End of flashback *

I hate rejection because I couldn’t handle it well. Since then I’m afraid to fall in love again. And until now I can’t spill those 3

words from my mouth. Paranoid if you ask me. But this time I feel different when Chae Rin being around me. I love her but

what if I confess and she don’t want me and she ignores me just like Soojin did? Well, i think its better to just stay friend

with her.

*After school*

I saw Chae Rin stood in front of her locker when I was walking at the school hallway. Remember Junhyung! She’s JUST a

friend. I whsipered to myself and tried to act normal in front of her.

“CL ah….!”

“What?” she glanced at me once and continue arranging her books.

“Where’s your bodyguard?"

“Since when I have a bodyguard?” she asked me back.

“Hahaha..i mean Dara..” I laughed.

“She met her group members I think…and she’s not my bodyguard, ok? She’s my guardian angel sent from

above” she claimed.

“Hey, did you forget your promise?” suddenly I thought about something.

“I promised you what?”

“You said you want to treat me if I won, remember?”

“You didn’t get no.1” she retorted.

“But I still won, right?”

“Its different”

“You said you’ll treat me”

“I don’t really meant it”

“Tch..i caught someone couldn’t keep the promise” I replied and she closed her locker with a loud bang!

“Fine..what do you want to eat?” she faked her smile.

“Hahaha..you agree! really?” I laughed in disbelief.

“If I said no, you’re still going to make me say yes, right?” she rolled her eyes.

“Whatever…I eat anything!”

“Ok, ice –cream then!”

“Yah! I’m hungry. Let’s eat pizza!” I suggested.

“You said you eat anything!”

“Ok, fine. Pizza!” I said and she quickly made her way leaving me behind.

“Yah! Hurry up before I change my mind!” she shouted.

CL POV

“Slow down…you’ll choke!” I just ignored him. All I knew, I was pissed off, and when I was pissed off, I tend to eat a lot.

“Don’t bother me!” I continued eating hungrily as if I didn’t eat for a week.

“What’s wrong with you today?”

“Mind your own business..and just eat!” I beamed.

“I’m full already” he said and I glanced at his plate. When did he finish that?

“I’m so full and I’m a happy girl…~~~” I said happily as I swallowed my last bite. I tried to hide my burping sound but

failed.

“Hahahaha….i heard you!” he laughed.

“What’s so funny? You’ve never burp after you eat?”

“Haahha...normal girls won’t do that especially in front of guys..”

“Why I need to be like other girls? You expect me to act so girly in front of boys. Ahh..that’s so fake…! I am me,

ok?” I scoffed.

“Yah! Don’t mad!”

“You’re so annoying…!” I blurted out.

“What's wrong with you today?” he asked.

“You wanna know?” I sighed.

“If you don't mind”

“Yeah…my math teacher scolded me, Dara was mad at me, I spent my pocket money to treat you and you made

me pissed off…” I bluntly said.

“Dara?” he raised his eye brows. Why she kept asking me about Dara? Does he likes her?

“She asked me to go lunch and hang out with her group members but I refused” I sighed once again.

“Why?”

“I have no mood to have fun since Mrs. Woo upset with my marks” I said I have no mood but why I ended up eating

with him. This is weird!

“Math?”

“I got C…me and Math were not meant to be together” I stated the truth

“I’m married to Math”

“What do you mean?”

“I can help you”

“Really?”

“10000 won per hour”

“Tch…a gentleman won’t take money from girl..”

“Yah..i’m just kidding..its free!”

“Yayy!” I said giddily.

“Still mad at me?” he aked but I just smiled at his question since I can saw his sincerity written on his face.

Junhyung POV

I couldn’t help myself from staring at CL when i saw she's smiling like that. Her hair, eyes, nose are just perfect! My eyes

trailed down to her lips. She’s beautiful!

“Beautiful? What?” she asked with confused face. Did I say it loud?Damn! Junhyung, you got caught!

“Anii….that girl is beautiful..” I said while pointing my finger towards a random girl that walking at the street. CL turned

her head around to see her.

“Owh…nice one! With heavy make-up like that, I wonder how much she spent her money per month to maintain

her face.” She said sarcastically. I chuckled at her remark.

“She’s beautiful than you..” I said that just to annoy her.

“What?” she yelled.

“No..i mean you’re pretty too but no one will like you because of your boyish, grumpy, hot tempered attitude…”

“What??!!You!!” she banged her fist on the table and I noticed others customers looked at our direction.

“You’re too much!” she greeted her teeth and she seemed on the verge of tears. I saw her got up from her seat and I

managed to grab her wrist.

“Where are you going?”

“Ladies…” she pushed my hand and walked away from me. She must be hurt with what said just now. I had no intention to

told her that, I just don’t won’t she knows about my feeling towards her. I fidgeted my fingers on the table waiting for her. 30

minutes passed without her showing up. Where is she? I whispered worriedly to myself and finally decided to call her. I

dialed her number but she didn’t answer. Great Junhyung! She’s angry with you! I tried to reach her once again.

“Yah…What took you so long?” I asked her.

“Ju,,Ju,,Junhyung..ah..!” I heard her panic voice.
