CL POV

“Huh? Sleeping on Junhyung’s shoulder during the day and flirting with Zico at night. CL, you flirty ..!”

Hara mumbled and rolled her eyes at me. My eyes widened since I clearly heard what she just said about me just now.

“Yah! You call me what?” I rushed to her bed and glaring at her.

“I…I…I..” Hara stuttered.

“How dare you..!!!” I snapped.

“So..so..soryy..” Hara stammered out an apology.

“Huh? Sorry?” I smirked at her and started to slap her with no mercy. Even Bom and Dara can’t stop me either. And I just ignored

Hara who begged me to stop. I laughed in satisfaction when I saw her crying helplessly.

I shook my head, causing my evil thought to fade away. How I wish I wanna do that to her. I greeted my teeth and pulled my blanket all

over body with my back facing her. Yes, I’m angry! I’m really angry to the max. But I chose to be rational rather than being so

emotional. I can’t imagine what problem will up if I ‘attacked’ her like that. Seriously, how dare she call me a just because she saw

me befriend with Junhyung and Zico? We’re just friend for the God sake!

*A day later / Competition Day*

No One POV

All of them gathered at the cafeteria to have their breakfast. They still have around 2 hours before their ‘battle’ officially starts. They

talked happily among them, trying to lessen their nervousness. Mrs. Kim and Mr. Jeon approached them with a bright smile.

“Morning kids!”

“Morning madam!”

“Well, today is your day. Just do your best okay. Don’t be nervous. Take it easy...” Mrs. Kim gave them a piece of advice. All

her students nodded their head.

“And tonight I want you guys come and give support to our singing group ok?” Mr. Jeon asked them.

“Ne...!” They answered. After giving some tips here and there, both teachers left them to finish their breakfast. CL pushed her plate

away from her and slowly sipped her tea.

“Eat this” Zico who sat across her gave her extra sandwich and put it on her plate. He didn’t know there was a pair of eyes watching

his action.

“I’m full already…” CL declined.

“You’re so thin! Eat more..!”

“Sirheo..! Dara, eat it...Please!” she mumbled, looking at her friend.

“Just eat it CL ah…Don’t waste it…He gave it ‘special’ for you..” Dara whispered, trying to tease CL. Bom who sat beside Dara

hold her laugh when Dara winked her eyes at her.

“Yah…!!!” CL nudged her. Zico looked at them suspiciously. What’s wrong with these two?

“I’m so hungry!” Junhyung looked at CL and she immediately gave her sandwich to him in no minute. What? She gave it to

Junhyung? Haishh..CL ah…-__-  Zico protested in his heart.

“Ahh…You’re my savior today..! Unlike you three…forcing me to eat..!!” she rolled her eyes.

“Hahahha…You mad?” Bom laughed.

“Hashh..This kids..Fighting over food…” Kyung shook his head in disbelief. They continued joking around as time flies.

“Ok guys…I think we should get going now” Zico glanced his watch. Everyone started to got up from seat.

“Don’t forget your venue and don’t get lost..” as the leader he reminded all his friends. Their venue are differ depend on what

category they’re in. They busily packed their things except for singing group members since their schedule will be at night, together

with prize giving ceremony after that. They stood together, making a circle.

“Do our best, ok?” Zico said. They piled up their hands together and shouted ‘fighting!!’. 

CL POV

“CL..! Fighting…!!!” Bom and her singing members wished me. I smiled at them. Seriously, seeing them like this, wishing good luck to

each other totally made me happy since I can see their full spirit side. I walked towards Zico and Kyung and wished them luck too and

they told me the same.

“CL ah…Goodluck!” Dara told me and I quickly pulled her into a hug as I wished her to do her best too. One thing to note about me, I

love to hug someone whenever I feel panic or afraid because it somehow made me felt secured.

“Zico…hehehe..!” Dara teased me again.

“Yah..!!” I playfully slapped her shoulder. She laughed and ran away from me.  Haishh… Dara, Dara..! I shook my head. As I about to

walk, I saw Junhyung and Hara were walking together. Hara really irked me.

“Junhyung!” I shouted his name and he turned around towards my direction. I hurriedly approached them and I saw Hara gave me a

disgusted stare but I just ignored her.

“Thanks for saving my stomach!” I said to Junhyung.

“Yeah..you owed me, which means you need to treat me!” he jokingly replied.

“Hmm…I will if you win..!btw, good luck Junhyung!” I purposely tapped his shoulder. I tried to hold myself from chuckling looking

at her face. Boo~~~~

“Yeah..You too! Fighting..!” he patted my head and I smiled.

“Do your best!” I told Hara but as I expected, she just pretended she didn’t hear me. From the corner of my eyes, I spotted Junhyung

confusedly looking at the tense between me and Hara but I quickly excused myself from them. Dear Hara, you should be grateful

because I didn’t tell Dara what you said about me. You don’t know how scary Dara can be. I smirked. My phoned vibrated and I quickly

opened my text. A smile formed on my face.

To: Chae Rin

Do your best! And daddy says ‘fighting!!!’ Love you!

I chuckled reading their simple encouraging text. CL! Fighting!

*Night*

The crowds began pouring into the hall. Zico, Kyung, and others were looking for empty chairs while their singing group already went

to backstage, doing their preparation since their performance is 3^rd turn.

“Dara..Hurry up..we’re late already!” CL told Dara who busily tightens her shoelace. Then both of them quickly entered the hall,

searching for their friends.

“Dara..!” Kyung waved his hands.

“Why late?” Mrs. Kim asked.

“Hehe…Girls’ thing madam!.” CL replied, sitting on the chair they already reserved for them.

“CL, if you wanna sit beside Zico, you can change yours with mine…” Dara made an offer by slowly whispering to her ears.

“Thanks but no thanks…!” CL retorted, making her best friend giggled.

“You two are weird since this morning! What’s wrong?” Zico who sit beside Dara complained.

“Nothing!”  Both said in unison. CL took a glance at Junhyung who sit beside her and exchanged her smile with his. The MCs

appeared on stage and called first group to perform. The hall filled with the sounds of people clapping their hands, whistling and such.

They waited about half an hour for their friends’ performance.

“Bom, Yoseob, Dongwoon, Hyorin, Minzy, Taeil..fighting..fighting…fighting!!!"  Dara shouted as loud as she could. CL and

others looked at her with weird looks.

“What?” she asked innocently.

“Hahaha…the way you scream is like we’re at artist concert..!” CL laughed which then followed by others. Dara stuck her

tongue out and continued to cheer for them. Those six great singers from their school amazed the crowd with their powerful vocals

ability and entertaining performance. Their 5 minutes performance ended with everybody clapping and looks so satisfied with them.

CL POV

“Hey..wake up..!”  I slowly opened my eyes when I felt someone poking my cheeks. Half awake me dazed when I saw Junhyung stared

at me.

“Wae? You love my shoulder that much?”  he asked.

“What?” I asked him back confusedly.

“Haha..you slept on my shoulder twice already. Is my shoulder that ‘comfortable’?”

“Yah..i didn’t realize when I fell asleep..”  he laughed at my remark. I knew I was sleepy earlier but seriously, I had no intention to

sleep on his shoulder.

“Dara ah..did I miss something?”

“Yup..for an hour and half, you definitely missed a lot of interesting things!”

“Really?” I sighed.

“Sorry ah CL…I don’t have heart to wake you up because you looked so tired..” she explained. I told her not worry but I now I

felt pity for Junhyung. His shoulder must be in pain for letting me sleeping like that for that long! I said sorry to Junhyung and he just

smiled at me and asked me to pay attention at the MCs on the stage.

No one POV

They all cheered in joy when MC announced that Zico and his group members just won 3^rd place for Architecture category, Junhyung

got 2^nd place for his category and CL won the 1^st place for Calligraphy writing. Mrs. Kim and Mr. Jeon looked so extremely happy and

satisfied with their students big winning tonight.

“I can’t believe this! Am I dreaming??!!” Dara wore that amazement look on her face.

“No. You’re not!!!” Zico shook her shoulder which drew a big and loud laughter from everyone in their school team. They controlled themselves as the MCs were going to announce the 1^st winner for Arirang singing category

CL  POV

“And the winner for this category goes to YGC High School from Seoul..!!!” All my teammates including me automatically

jumped from our seat and screamed excited for our winning. I saw Dara and others were happily high 5-ing each ohther.

“Yay..!!! We won!!!” I said excitedly as I tighten my hug.

“Me too..!!” I loosen my arms as I heard his voice exactly near my ears. I stared blankly at the face in front of me. Wait! Why I hugged

him?

“Hahaha..see! You like my shoulder, don’t you?” Junhyung teased me.

“No. I’m not!” I beamed.

“Yes you do..!” he smirked.

“No, I don’t..!!!” Seriously, I didn’t realize it at all. Now I could feel my cheeks were burning in red. CL you pabo! I blamed myself for my

stupid uncontrollable involuntary action just now.

*fail me..! i just noticed that Junhyung don't have friend in this story. Sorry Junhyung ah, i'll find a friend for you..-__-
