A loud dong echoed through the living room. It just strucked 12. I was wating, alone.

 He has been out since 7pm. 

I tapped my phone impatiently and wondered to myself.

" Will he come home with another woman or just drunk? " I nervously bit my lip.

Suddenly, the door swung open. He's homed.

I stood up immediately and looked at him. 

He was not in a sober state and he was whispering a name. Which i could hear clearly.

" Sumi.. your such a good kisser.. " My heart fell even though this was not the first time. 

He glared at me and choked my neck, i dropped my phone and struggled in pain.

I was trying not to scream if not i'd wake ByungNam up.

" B-byung-g.. " i was choking. 

He slap hard across my cheeks, i flew to the couch and lie down there helpless.

It was stinging pain. " . " he spat before he slammed the door shut. 

I held a pillow against my chest and sobbed hard. 

Why did he became like this.. 

I flipped and turned before i could finally get some sleep.

I squinted my eyes as the sun shone onto my face. I looked around and notice i was sleeping on the couch. 

I looked to the side and saw Byungnam squatting beside me.

" N-nam? Why are you up so early? " I asked.'

" I was awoken by the sound appa made. I was awake the whole night. " ByungNam said.

I bit my inner cheeks trying hard not to tear. But i failed to. 

Byungnam leaned forward and hugged me tight.

" umma, we will be okay. " I smiled and told him to sit on the couch.

I sighed and went to made some breakfast, my cheeks were still swollen from last nights beating.
