Movie Credits

annyeong fellas! okay so since we're going to make a "movie poster" look-alike, we need to have the movie credits at the bottom or the top. How can you get that movie poster credits? just follow this really easy steps. :)

1. To get that movie credits you need to have the movie poster. Open your browser and go to Google.com or Yahoo.com or whatever site that can surf the images. Once you open you browser and your site, type movie poster and search for the images that you want (just choose the one that has black or white in the bottom where the credits is). then save the image to your computer.

2. Open your Photoshop, and then click File on the toolbar, and click Open and find the imgae that you just saved to open it in photoshop. Or you can just easily drag the image to the Photoshop. Okay for example, I'm going to use this image. (this poster is so beautiful for some reason :3)

3. After you open the image, on the left side (your left), you can see a bunch of dfferent kind of tools that you will use when you're editing. Choose the one that looks like on the image below, or well you can just say the crop tool to crop the image that you don't need. 

4. Now, just crop on the text on the bottom of the poster to get the movie credits you want. 

If you happy with the way it's going to crop, click enter on your key board. 

5. At last, now you have your movie credits that's going to be in your "movie poster". 

The credits might look a bit blurry and you can't clearly see the text but that's okay. 

If you're a lazy person (like me hahaha!), you can save the movie credits so that you don't have to crop it again when you need it, just click File and then Save As.. and just save it in JPEG or PNG format. 

Voila! You got your Movie Credits. 

and to use the movie credits on your poster 

1. open the Poster and the movie credits in photoshop. 

2. then drags the movie credits to your poster and placed it in the bottom of the poster. Or you can also put it on the top. your choice :) if your movie credits is smaller or wider than your poster, then resize it by clicking on the shift on your keyboard while you resize the movie credits layer so that it won't ruin the actual size of the movie credits. 

3. now we need to get rid of that black bg on the credits by using the blending options  on the layers pannel on the right.

The trick is that if the movie credits have black bg then set the blending options into screen. But if you wanted the text of the credits into black instead of white, then click ctrl + I on your keyboard to inverse the color of the movie credits and set the blending options into multiply.

now that's how you use the movie credits :)
