"Noona! Wake up!" Hyuk was knocking on my door early in the morning. Annoyed, I got up and opened the door, "Wae?" I questioned. "Mom says to come in for work." I nodded. "Arasseo." I was supposed to my day off but when omma says to come in for work, we can't really fight back. Just like any ordinary work day, I got up, showered and got dressed. As I went downstairs, Jaehwan was there. "Yah. Why are you here?" I questioned with confusion all over my face. "Wae? You don't want me here?" He laughed. "I heard you got called in today. I'm guessing Hongbin is still sick." Jaehwan continued. He came over so we could walk to work together. Jaehwan and I have known each other since we were in diapers. His dad and my dad were best friends in high school, they even attended the same university together. They never grew apart even though they both had families of their own which concluded to Jaehwan and I being best friends.

Even though we were good childhood best friends, we never went to the same school. We would always meet up after school to hang
out or he would wait for me outside my school to walk me home. He was like a brother to me. Like an older brother, even though he
was just the same age as me. He was the one that was always there for me. I didn't have that many friends in elementary and junior high. I always just kept to myself, and no one ever really bothered to talk to me. I didn't really care. Jaehwan and I have been through a lot together. I'm pretty glad he's still around and that we haven't drifted apart. 

Jaehwan and I headed off to work. "Do you think your mom's gonna hire that guy?" Jaehwan asked. I shrugged, "I don't know
honestly." Deep inside, I wished my mom did. For some reason, I just wanted to get to know him. Jung Taekwoon... He seemed to
be quiet and mysterious which attracts me to him. The ride on the bus to work seemed like forever. "So I heard that you saw you know 
you know who the other day..." Jaehwan started. I raised an eyebrow, "How did you know?" Thinking about it, the only other person 
that knew was Sungyeol. No one else. He ignored my question. "What exactly happened?" "But how do you know? No one knows 
except for Sungyeol." Jaehwan looked away. "Jaehwan!" He sighed, "I saw you with him." "Oh." There was an awkward silence. "I'm 
sorry... It's just that.. I know it hurts you to see him." He frowned. There was an awkward silence again. "I used to get hurt. But little by little, I'm moving on." I started. "It has been hard, but I've learned to live with it. I'm fine, Jaehwannie." 

The rest of the ride to work was in silence. Jaehwan and I finally got there, to my surprise, Jung Taekwoon was there. "Oh, Jung-ah,
you're finally here." My mom exclaimed. "Taekwoon is our newest employee and I except you, Jung-ah, to take care of him and train him. You got that?" I nodded. Jaehwan, Taekwoon and I went into the back to put our stuff down. Jaehwan started working while I
gave Taekwoon the tour of the store. He was really quiet, but I didn't mind it. While training him, I learned that this is his first time working at a coffee shop. He had no experience and the fact that he was too timid to yell out drinks to customers. "Why did you want to become a barista in the first place? If you don't mind me asking." I questioned Taekwoon. He didn't say anything. Quiet. Nothing.
Not even a breath could be heard. "Latte art." He whispered. "I'm sorry, what was that?" "L-latte art was the reason why." He stuttered.
I nodded, "I see, I see." For the rest of the day, I just taught him the basics. Steaming milk, queuing espresso shots, making sure there's
the right amount of syrup in the drinks. We let him stay on bar to practice and get the hang off making drinks. 

It wasn't as busy as I expected for today. It was finally the end of my shift, as well as Taekwoon's. He bowed to my mom and bowed to me before leaving. I quickly took my stuff, "Omma, I'll see you at home alright?" and I dashed off towards Taekwoon. "Taekwoon-ssi!" 
I yelled. He turned around and stopped in his footsteps. "Annyeong haeseyo." He quietly said. "So.. How was your first day with us?" 
He nodded as a figure of saying "It was okay." Taekwoon's quietness just kept drawing me in. I am honestly so curious as to why he's so
quiet and shy. "Jungah-yah!" Someone yelled from behind. Taekwoon and I both turned around to find that Jaehwan was running
towards us. "Jaehwannie! You're done too?" I questioned. He nodded with a smile. "Taekwoon-ssi, you've met Jae-" I cut myself off to 
find that Taekwoon was already metres away from us. "Well.. That was quite rude of him." Jaehwan remarked. "Aiiish. I'll see you later
Jaehwannie! I'm gonna go just catch up with him." I ran towards Taekwoon calling his name and leaving Jaehwan behind. "Taekwoon
-sii!" He turned around and stopped in his steps again. "Why did you leave like that?" I questioned. He was ducking his head. "I 
thought you guys would want to be alone." I gave him a confused face. "Why would you think that?" I questioned again. "He is your
boyfriend, isn't he?" I started laughing, "Is that what you thought?" I couldn't stop laughing, "Sorry, but I only see him as a brother.
We've been friends since we were kids." "Ohhh, I see." he said in a soft tone. I could see his face light up a bit and you could even see a slight smile creeping the corner of his mouth.
