My eyelids opened, finding the warmth of the sun that slipped into my room comforting. Where he lay last night was an empty space. His fingers were no longer intertwined with mine. But I didn’t feel lonely at all; in fact, I felt giddy like a little girl again.  Remembering the way his soft voice spoke my name was enough for me, as it always had been. Exactly the reason that lead me to fall for him.                             I had now memorized the way his fingers ran through my hair, and the way he twirled my hair around his index finger with such gentleness. I could imagine his fingers ruffling the fur of the rabbits my little sister owned, picking strawberries from the garden in spring.
