Day Twenty-Four

I was sitting on the couch admiring my good looks like a normal day. Err, as close to normal as everyday is. Anyways, I was sitting on thr couch admiring my good looks like every usual day, until I heard P.O shouting outside the common room.

"I DO NOT HAVE A WHALE IN MY PANTS!" P.O ran around shouting.

I looked up from my mirror and gave him a weird look. Didn't he say something like this the first time I met him?

"Why are you running around saying you don't have a whale in your pants?" I asked him as he jumped on the couch I was sitting on.

"Zico-hyung and Kyung-hyung are saying I do!" He whined.  "They're being meanies!"

"And why are they saying that?"

"I don't want to talk about it..." he pouted as he crossed his arms.

"Alright then." I looked back to my mirror.

It was silent for about five seconds.

"Okay! I'll tell you!" He sighed.

"Good boy." I turned my attention back to him, occationally looking back at my mirror.

"So... I'm in this mental institution because I followed someone I admired around. Eventually I adapted to his way of life and did everything he did as well."

"So basically, you stalked that person?" I asked.

"I did stalk him!" He glared at me.

I put my hands up in front of me. "Alright, you didn't stalk him. Continue with your story."

"Okay. So, Since I really admired this guy I even changed my physical looks for him."

"So you didn't look like this before?" I gave him a weird look. Is it normal to physically change what you look like for someone?

"Nope. I actually like how I look like now. However, he didn't appreciate what I did for him." P.O began pouting.

"Uhm... Who was this guy?" I asked him, not sure if this is funny or if I'm slightly creeped out. It is pretty funny though. I know I wouldn't do this for someone else. Since my looks are above everyone elses'.

"His name is Choi Seunghyun, or T.O.P as most people knew him." P.O said happily, but soon enough it turned into a scowl. "He didn't apreciate anything I did for him at all. I even left a lock of my hair in his mailbox as a memory of me but he threw it into a trashcan in his backyard and made a bonfire to burn it like he would be cursed for ETERNITY if he didn't!"

"Uhm... I don't think it's 'cause he has problems..." I said, but of course he didn't hear me because he was too engrossed in his own storytelling.

"I showed him pictures I had of him and he laughed at me! I even filled up the whole room! It was like a collage on a wall. I was so proud of my work but he ended up lighting that room on fire as well." P.O grimaced.

Before I was even able to say anything he continued on.

"He could have just said 'no' when I confessed to him!" P.O wailed. "He didn't have to go around telling the whole world that I had a whale in my pants! He even made a TV commercial about it! Isn't that illegal?!"

"Is that how Zico and Kyung started to say that you had a whale in your pants?" I asked.

P.O nodded. "So after all this, I was fed up with not being paid attention to. I was sick of all the laughter he gave me. I hated how he wouldn't give me a chance."

Is he doing all this because of some attraction he had to this T.O.P guy? Wait, isn't T.O.P some rapper in that one band, Small Boom or something?

"If you gave someone your life and they shot you down how would you feel?" P.O looked at me.

"I'd—"

"I totally agree! I would get back at then for revenge too!" Gee, thanks for interrupting me. "So that's what I did. I shaved off his hair. I dyed his body shampoo purple so that id'd stain his skin, I gave his dog . I even sent him a in a box. I wonder how that homeless guy pees now though..."

This kid totally doesn't have problems.

I just realized something.

Is P.O... gay?

"Uh, Jihoon? Are you, by any chance, gay?" I asked him.

He gave me a look of horror. "How did you come up with that thought?"

"My bad. My thoughts are totally wrong. I don't know how I came to that conclusion at all." I sarcastically said.

" I am completely straight! I'm as straight as a circle!"

"..." we were both silent for a bit as I stared at him.

"That came out wrong." He said.

"Yeah." I nodded. So I guess he isn't gay...  

"Anyways, he should feel guilty about turning me down so harshly now!" P.O sat there smirking triumphantly. "After I did that, I didn't see him around much though... I wonder why."

I stared at him. "Are you seriously wondering why he wasn't around anymore?"

"Do you know why hyung?" He asked.

And yet again, before I answered he interrupted me.

"Yeah, he was probably regretting everything he did so he couldn't show his face to me anymore." P.O nodded like he had much wisdom in him.

I sighed. "You just keep thinking that."

"You know what... I will!" he smiled. "I feel much better talking to you."

"You still have a whale in your pants!" two voices said in unison behind P.O.

He glared at the two. "It's not true right Jaehyo-hyung?"

"Whatever." I said, not paying attention as I went back to looking at my mirror.

"He does, doesn't he?" Kyung grinned.

"Uh-huh." I mumbled as I brushed the stray eyelash off.

"So... I do have a whale in my pants?" P.O tilted his head and looked at me with a confused expression.

"Uhm... Sure." I answered.

"Oh, I see..." he stared at the ground thinking in silence.

After a while I got bored and was about to leave but he spoke.

"Okay! Thanks for listening and giving me advice Jaehyo-hyung!" He then skipped off.

I stared at his skipping figure. "What advice? You didn't even let me talk! Aish!"

"Well, he's accepting it now?" Zico raised an eyebrow at Kyung who shrugged.

"See ya Jaehyo, we're gonna go bother little Jihoon some more." Kyung waved.

"Have fun." I waved.
