Attack on Titan
Brothers in Arms: Falling SkySooyoung led us to the huge golden chariot.
“Whoa… it’s beautiful,” Sungjong said.
“Everyone in, we don’t have much time!” Sooyoung commanded. We hopped in as Sooyoung took the reins. When she touched them, two enormous, flaming horses appeared in front of us. Seconds later we were soaring through the air at top speed. The wind blew my hair back and took my breath away.
“There it is!” Rain managed to say, pointing at the dragon. I could see the face of Atlas. It seemed as if it was carved from stone, a pained expression permanently etched on its face. The hydra was blowing massive fireballs into its chest, sending pieces of rock hurtling down toward the ground. Atlas wouldn’t last much longer. I could see Jaejoong on the beast’s back.
“Sooyoung, get me close,” I said.
“Wait Joon… you’re gonna need this more than me,” Rain said, tossing me the sword. I nodded and readied myself.
I wished I had more time to practice using the boots before I leapt from the chariot. I spiraled through the air and crashed into Jaejoong, knocking him off the Hydra’s back and sending both of us tumbling to the ground. I jumped to my feet and grabbed the sword.
“Oh Lee Joon… I was hoping I’d see you here,” Jaejoong said with a smirk.
“What the hell are you talking about?”
“Well, I needed you to lead me to the Omniforce. And you played your part perfectly. Unlike Gackt, I didn’t underestimate you… I used your own abilities against you,” Jaejoong explained.
“Why do you want the Omniforce?”
“So I can use its power to create a new Earth atop the ashes of the old one… too bad you won’t be around to see it,” Jaejoong replied, his eyes turning black. The ground split and two giant boulders rose up, flying toward me. I dodged them at light speed, before charging at Jaejoong. He kicked me hard, forcing me backwards. I scrambled to my feet, but he was already running toward the Hall of the Gods. Even with the assistance of the boots, I couldn’t catch up with him.
When I got inside, he was holding the Omniforce in his hands.
“Stop Jaejoong, this is your last warning!” I demanded. He laughed.
“You’re warning me!? You fool… I have all the power in the world!” the Omniforce glowed and a beam of light shot at me. It barely missed me as I zipped around the room, avoiding blast after blast. Soon the support beams gave way, bringing the roof down on top of us. Everything was dark, but thanks to Hercules’ robe, I was unharmed.
I managed to crawl out of the rubble. Seconds later a section of debris exploded, and Jaejoong floated up from the wreckage.
“Time’s up…”
