Another cold December day. Yes, I know the Christmas is approaching but I don't feel happy. For me, it's just another day. No celebrations for me. Just work, work work and work. You're asking why I don't celebrate Christmas? Let me tell you why...

...Flashback...

"Oppa, is it really true that you're moving to Canada?" I ask my best friend, Kris. "Neh, appa thought that it would be better for us to be in Canada since our business there is getting bigger." Kris explained. "But, when are you coming back?" I asked him while crying. "I'll be back before the first snow falls and we will spend Christmas together, I rpomise." he said while hugging me goodbye...

It was 9 years ago when he promised me that. At first we would still communicate through letters and phone calls for the first 3 months but suddenly, it just stopped. Every year, I keep on waiting for him to come back. Everytime the first snow falls each year, I keep on getting disappointed. He hasn't come back. And I had this feeling that he forgot about me. 

...Present Day...

"Ahri-ssi, can you stay for overtime tomorrow? Our new general manager is coming in tomorrow to check the new designs for the Holiday Collection. I can't stay because my daughter will be having a Christmas program at school," my supervisor said to me. "Sure, why not? It's not like I have something to do. I'll stay. I need the extra money. Tell your daughter good luck on her program tomorrow, okay?" I told her. "Oh, thank you so much Ahri-ssi, you don't know how much it means to me. Bye" she said before going out of the office. 

It's true, I don't have anything to do. I don't have someone to go home to except for my bed and my giant SpongeBob stuff toy and my computer. I don't have parents anymore. They died 3 years ago because of a car accident. I'm alone. I don't have anyone. 

------NEXT DAY-----

I got to work early since the new boss is coming in today. Hmmm, I wonder if our new boss is a man or a woman... Anyway, I really don't care as long as he or she knows how to treat the employees respectfully like our old boss.
