I felt so guilty. Jongup cried because of me. Jongup cried because Jenny was in a coma. If I had never crossed the street with my headphones, with the volume on max, my sister would never have been lying in a hospital bed. Jenny could’ve died because of me. Why did I cause so much trouble? I had never been loved by anyone so much that they would die for me. Not even by my father or Youngjae.

            Because of me, everyone was in misery. Maybe Youngjae was right. Maybe I shouldn’t have let my father push me around and finally send me off to America. Then Youngjae and I never would have broken up and I would have never broken his heart. Every single one of my sister’s friends and the B5 boys wouldn’t have had to go through so much chaos.

            “It should’ve been me,” I muttered to myself. I should’ve been me in that hospital bed, not Jenny. Jenny should be living a careless life and possibly dating Jongup. But no. She was stuck in a stupid bed in some stupid hospital, all because of me.

            I crouched down against the wall, opposite of the door to Jenny’s room. I buried my face into my hands and sobbed. Every hot tear that dripped out of my eye was an apology. Sorry, Jongup. Sorry, Zelo. Sorry, Yongguk. Sorry, Esther.
