The waves fall back under the moonlit sky, revealing two people

"Sapphire...now what are we going to do?" asks the male. Her seweed skirt moves a bit as she brings her human legs to her chest, she looks over at the boy with sweet black eyes

"Well, humans don't wear ship sails for garments and other things from the sea," she is referring to the cloth covering his unmentionables, and the starfish bra she is wearing. She attempts to stand, but miserably falls back into the unforgiving sand

"We need human names too," she adds rubbing her backside in pain. The male searches ahead, stopping his gaze on the beach house. The sign reads in a dull red

'Ricky's Turf and surf!' he tilts his head to the side, examining the name

"I'm y!" he brightly exclaims. Her eyes find the source of the name, and she gives a heavy groan

"You mean Ricky! It's an english name," she corrects her. As smart as mermaids are, he copies her 

"Oh, Ricky," he nods. Coincidently someone's light flashes towards them

"Looks like, we're going to get a place to stay," grins the female, she pushes herself up a little bit, falling over on her flimsy

legs. She falls over on Ricky, who whines in pain

"Quiet Chang Hyun, I can't concentrate when you do that,"

"I'm Ricky," he reminds her. Two people come up to them, it is an male and a female

"Are you two okay?" asked the girl, slapping the male for observing in gory detail the girl, helplessly sitting up against her friend.

"Our boat crashed...we're the only survivors," she said, blinking her eyes. The male put his hand over his chest. saddened by her sudden sniffles, and tears.

"C'mon we should take them in," he said to his lady friend

"Funny Donghyun,you didn't say that when we passed that hobo, on the street," she frowns, trying to hide her envious glare "And what about our picnic on the beach?". The male ignores her

"Can you walk?" he says, looking into her brown eyes, and examing her flush of slick black tresses. She shakes her head at him, and he picks her up with ease. His girlfriend gives an appauled look, but turns to the boy. Instantly she raises her brow,

"Im guessing you can't walk either?" she asks him. He reaches out and touches her forearm

"I'm sorry, I hope I'm not a burden to you," he gives a sincere look. She blinks immediately wishing to help him, thinking he was adorable

"Of course not," she said, propping him up on his feet. She helped him towards the car.

" What's your name?" asked the male. Sapphire her cheeks looking for a name amongst the random signs that the car sped past

"Jung Eun ji," she told him. He made a face, as if to be thinking where he heard such a name, but gave up.

"Isn't that a park?" asked the female. Sapphire shrugged

"I don't know," she replies. Ricky looks over at the female

"What's your name?"

"Oh, I'm Bora," she smiles. Donghyun looks back with a glare for Ricky

"She's MY girlfriend, hot shot," he growled. Ricky smirks

"I wasn't flirting," but Donghyun still glares. Eun ji looks out the window And so the hunt begins.

"I'll call some friends to watch for survivors. I bet some people you know will turn up soon" he said dialing a number.

  The waves pound on the beach, each blue ripple kisses the sand in a harmonious way.

I love the ocean...but mother and father say not to go near it...do they think I'm going to get dragged out by a wave? Thinks Carly Soi; looking from the beach house that sits in hot sand. She looks back at her little white convertible car and sighs deeply.

"It couldn't hurt if I took a little dip," she decides. She descends the wooden stairs travelling down to the shore, of damp, soaked grains of tiny rocks. She kicks off her yellow sandles looking nervously at the water,

*Okay, okay this is it---jump in*  she tells herself inching forwards and feeling the sand under her toes. Another wave reaches the sand engulfing her small little white feet in it's grasps *Is it trying to pull me in?* she asks herself after recovering from the tug at her feet. She shakes her head---jumping in imediately.

      The cool sensation of the ocean touches her skin, and she dosen't even care that she has got her uniform wet. She dives under the aqua, observing aquatic life. She smiles, feeling like she was complete. As the air in her lungs dissolved, she headed up for the surface---but not without seeing a flash of scales....what was that? she thinks to herself after jumping up for air. She dunks back in and see's nothing...those white scales, gone like it was all just her mind playing tricks on her.

She resurfaces looking up at the sun

"I could stay her all day if I wanted----oh no the swim team!" she thinks to herself and immediately climbs back onto land. Carly curses herself since now she has to rush to the school and get to practice. Before she reaches the stairs that lead up to the grove for parking, she sees something nestled in the sand. She discovers a necklace with a transparent star medallion, and three small glass chains. She stares for a moment in utter aw, looking around for the owner of the necklace. She safely places it in her uniform's jacket  pocket.

"Okay one, two, three---DIVE!" she whistles to the girls. Each swimmer does as instructed and dives into the pool, immediately reaching for the otherside of the pool. She looks over her shoulder, hoping to see the co captain show his face...but she dosen' t know that he's a little busy---buying a girl clothes.

Ricky's Turf and Surf Beach 6:30 PM......

Carly reviews the ocean, it has become a little rigid, dropping frothy white foam along the shore with each clash. She takes off her jacket, and rolls up her jeans. She walks towards the sea stopping at the damp sand. 

*Is it possible for the sea to be angry,* she asked herself, as another wave slided in. Over her feet it glided,but as it drew back she was in with it

"What the---," she is swallowed in the mass of water, being taken afar from land. She tried to fight against the rough waves but to no avail she is taken farther *Maybe mom and dad were right!* she thought frantically. She is pushed to the right, where she can hear yelling, and the crackling of a fire absorbed boat. In the midst of the drowning ship; the light from the fire shines perfectly over strawberry blonde hair, and creamy white skin. A male flails his arms trying his best to survive.

"HELP!" he shrills,

Carly swims towards him

"Don't worry I'm coming!" she states, peddaling her fastest towards him. He's whipped backwards towards a rock, and he immediately sinks. 

"Omo!" she says diving in facing the harsh pushes and pulls of the currents. He was dropping too fast and she was swimming far too slow due two the flux of the furious ocean. Carly struggled to get to him, no longer seeing the person in a need---only bubbles. She never noticed something snap off her neck...a pendant becomes lost in the tireless tides.  Miraculously the water calms, and now Carly can swim once again, she propels towards the sinking prince charming. Once she reaches him he almost touches the oceans floor, but she pulls him to herself. She tries to kick a leg...

"Omo! I have a tail now?!" she asks herself, reviewing the golden yellow that melts away into a cyan, tipped with a crisp white like sea foam. Returning to the epidemic, she shoots upwards and in less than 3 minutes. The male lays limply in her arms, but very faintly he's breathing. Carly heads for the beach, the sea becomes tranquil. As she closes in on the shore, she sees a cluster of people. The boy stirrs, and she looks down

"It's alright your safe now," she assures him. Within a minute he can feel sand under, him. He looks away from her briefly to examine the oceanfront; then he looks back towards her. But all he see's is a white tipped flipper, disappearing into the radiant sea.

Suddenly a cluster of people surround him---his crew.

"Oh thank goodness your alright! Mianhe Prince Jinyoung, we tried to come get you but it was like the ocean was pulling us back everytime we tried!" his advisor blabbed sadly, bowing a thousand times. He looked back at the sea

"I was saved by a princess," he said. He seemed amazed, but his advisor looked back quizzically at everyone else

"How would you know she was a princess---where is this princess?"

"She's a mermaid, she left as soon as I made it to land,"

"Is she a princess to you because she saved you?" asked the advisor. He shook his head

"No, she had an aura...I never see it on other girls----but she had one, it was pink," he answered. A hearty laugh boomed from the chef

"Love at first sight!" he said. Jinyoung rolled his eyes, looking past the lot of servants----reaching the sight of a girl...just then disappearing behind the beach house. He felt like it was her...but she was gone now, so he couldn't thank her...he didn't even know her name.

The waves bring in their last people...two males. They crawl up the beach, holding their bodies that have met the icy winds

"This feels nothing like the ice in my kingdom," cries the prince rubbing his frosty skin. The other male looked over his human body

"Um what's this?" he asks, the other male immediately looks away

"Didn't I tell you to rip some of that sail off?" he said shielding his eyes

"It seemed ilogical," he told him.

"Well I can tell you've never been up onland," he says standing up on his legs. 

"Ah ri unnie, more survivors!" exclaimed a girl in the far off distance.

"Jeongmin...are those girls looking at me?" asked the Chunji, noticing a few girls in bathing suits who come in from the stairs

"Heheeehhhe," giggles the girls looking at Chunji, he immediately covers 'himself' while his cheeks glow red.

"Now does it seem logical?" Jeongmin smirked. The girls smiled

"Your like the couple who washed up to the beach, were you two in the boat crash?" Chunji was about to refuse, but Jeongmin slapped a hand over his mouth

"YES!" he said. The girls kept giggling as they helped Chunji up, leading them away. Jeongmin followed after, noticing how the girls examined him

"Human girls," he shook his head smiling lightly.
