“I see you're busy practicing.” Someone sat beside her.

Jessica turned to her left and as always, her breath hitched.

“O-owh hey.” She stuttered. “You’re auditioning too?”

“Nope. I already auditioned for Dance Club yesterday. I’m good at singing too but better in dancing.” He said.

Jessica nodded nervously.

“What song are you singing?” Donghae took the lyrics paper from her. His hand brushed hers, and Jessica could feel the spark.

“Almost… I love this song.” He uttered while looking at the paper intently.

Jessica stared at him. His big brown eyes, his perfectly shaped nose and his thin lips. He was perfect.

“When’s your turn?” he asked. Waking up Jessica from her fantasy.

“Huh? Uhh… After this, I think. M-my sister’s auditioning now.” She said. Mentally slapping herself for looking like an idiot.

Donghae nodded. “If that’s the case, good luck then.” He smiled.

Jessica smiled back, “Thanks.”

The audition room door suddenly opened. Krystal came out from it, with a big smile across her face.

“Jung Sooyeon!”

Jonghyun called out. Jessica stood up.

“I guess I should go now.” She (unwillingly) told him and (again, unwillingly) walked away.

“Wait, Jessica-ssi!” Donghae stopped her. Jessica turned around.

“Let’s have lunch together later?” He asked.

Jessica froze for a few seconds before smiling widely and nodded, “Sure.”

She entered the audition room. Feeling happier than ever.

   Kyuhyun stuffed a piece of kimbap and a piece of rice cake in his mouth at once. Yoona and Luhan stared at him, looking disgusted.

“You’re going to choke at that point.” She told him.

“This is what I call creativity. Mixing two things together.” Kyuhyun said with a full mouth.

“The taste?” Luhan asked. Sipping on his caramel macchiato.

“Bad.” Kyuhyun confessed.

Luhan and Yoona chuckled and shook their heads.

“Yah, the audition started 10 minutes ago. When are you going?” Yoona asked.

“You realize that your name starts with a C, right? There’s not many people with an A or B as their first name, you know.” Luhan stated. Truly worried about him.

“A song lasts between 3 to 4 minutes so as of right now, three participants might have auditioned. I know three people with Ahn and two people with Bang as their first name so, I’ll make it in five minutes. The audition room is just upstairs so don’t worry guys.” Kyuhyun explained his calculations one by one.
