Balloon Proposal
No Other Than You - One Shot(s)
-Yesung's POV-
Today is mine and Yuri's anniversary :D 3 years together, today is the day I’ll ask her the words, and hopefully she'll accept ^^
But first I need to buy a ring I panicked, I quickly ran to the city and looked everywhere, until I found the ring shop :)
I looked around everywhere, and I didn't know which one to buy...I had to buy her the perfect ring
"Hello may I help you?" one of the assistance asked me
"Yes please" I nodded
"So...you going to propose to someone yes?" She asked me, and I nodded "And you don't know what kind of ring to buy her" She guessed completely right
"Yes!"
"Okay then" she giggled "What kind of person is she?" She asked me, I started think about Yuri...
"She's has a dorky personality...beautiful like a goddess! A good dancer, she's quite different from other girls...kids love her, she works at a day care" I could go on a list all day
"Okay, that's enough" She told me "I think I know the perfect ring then" She smiled to me, and started to walk as I followed behind her "Here" She stopped walking and in front of me was a ring, and it was perfect
"She'll love this!" I told the girl, she nodded to me "I'll take it" I told her, she smiled to me
"Okay" she said, she put the ring inside a box for me then handed it to me "That's $1380" She told me, it was expensive but worth it ^^
"Thank you" I thanked her before leaving the shop
~Neo gateun saram tto eopseo~ "Hello" I answered my phone "Yuri, what's up?" I asked her
"Oppa! Do you think you could come to the day care for me?" she asked me "Yoona is calling me over" She told me
"Okay then" I smiled "I'll be there in 10" I told her
"Thank you so much oppa!" She cheered on the other end and hung up...I started to walk to the day care, then I saw this man selling balloons, so I bought a few balloons for the kids at the day care, since they love balloons and so does Yuri
-Day Care-
Before I stepped into the day care, I put the ring box in my pocket, making sure Yuri won't be able to see it, then I walked inside
"Uncle Yesung!!" All the kids cheered in joy
"Hey there kids" I patted all their heads
"Yesung" Yuri came up to me "what's with the balloons?" she asked me
"For the kids" I told her, smiling
"Cute" She said, but looked a bit disappointed "Well I gotta go now" She gave me a peck on the cheek "I'll be back soon kays" She smiled to me, walking outside
"Yesung and Yuri sitting in the tree K-I-S" One of the kids started to sing, but she forgot the rest of the song
"Uncle Yesung let's play a game!" The kids all cheered
-Yuri's POV-
"I can't believe Yesung has forgotten our anniversary!" I sighed as I told Yoona
"Really?!" Yoona asked me pretty shocked and I sadly nodded
"3 years together and he forgot" I pouted sadly
"Maybe...he's holding a surprise?" Yoona told me, smiling, I started to think about and maybe he was right? I'm not sure though...
"So what's the big surprise you called me over for?" I finally asked her
A smile grew on Yoona's face "Heechul and I are dating now!!!" She squealed in joy
"That's great!" I cheered for her "Finally he asked you out!!" I said
"Wait... you knew he liked me?" She asked me, quite confused
"Yep" I nodded
"AND YOU NEVER TOLD ME?!?!?!" She screamed to me
"I thought you knew! It was so obvious" I giggled, but she looked at me and pouted sadly
"If I knew sooner, I could of been dating him for longer" She sighed "But at least I'm with him now" she happily smiled to me
"So is that all?" I asked her and she nodded "So you called me all the way over here...just to tell me, your dating Heechul?" I asked her, making sure I was right
"Yep" She cutely nodded
"Why couldn't you just tell me over the phone!??!" I shouted to her
"Cause...." she started to think "I don't know" she giggled
I sighed "You’re so dumb" I flicked her forehead
"Ouch" Yoona pouted as she patted her forehead
"Well I should get back to the day care now" I told her, smiling and she nodded
-Yesung's POV-
I was playing around with the kids and everything, they are so hyper today
“Uncle Yesung, Yuri unnie, told us today is a special day for her” One of the little girls said “She said something about ann…an” she forgot the word
“Anniversary?” I asked her, then all the kids nodded
“What does that mean?” They all asked at the same time
“Well…” I started off “Yuri and I have been together for 3 years” I told them, at first they didn’t quite understand, but after they did
“So you mean…Yuri unnie is a princess and Yesung oppa is a prince?” A little girl asked, as she dreamed happily
I nodded to them “I’m her prince in shining armour” I winked to them all, all the kids gasped in amazement
“Did you slay a dragon?” One of the boys asked
“Yes I did” I told them all “It was so big!!” I said with a loud voice “But nothing is too much for Prince Yesung” I smirked, all the kids started clapping
“Yesung don’t lie to the kids!” I heard Yuri’s voice, as she was walking in, I sheepishly smiled
“So what did Yoona tell you?” I changed the subject
“Nothing really” She sat down on the couch “Just that she’s going out with Heechul” she told me
“About time!” I smiled
“Noona! Can you tell us how noona and hyung met?” The kid asked, with big eyes
“Okay then” Yuri sighed, I sat down next to Yuri, with all the kids in front of us, sitting down listening to us
-Yuri’s POV-
Man...maybe Yesung has forgotten? I was a bit sad that he forgot
“Can you start now?” The kids complained, I giggled while I nodded
“Okay okay”
-Flashback-
“Everyone, this is my cousin” Taeyeon happily introduced him to everyone, I looked at him carefully, he seemed like a dork in a way, but cute as well ^_^ “Oh, his name is Yesung” She almost forgot his name, everyone started to greet themselves to Yesung, since there was such a big crowd for Yesung, I stayed at the back…after everyone introduced themselves I didn’t realized that he came up to me
“Hi there” I heard his voice, I looked up, looking at me smiling “I’m Yesung” He added on
“I’m Yuri” I told him, returning a smile back to him
“You’re a quiet one, aren’t you?” He asked me
I shook my head “It was just too crowded before” I explained, chuckling, then my stomach started to growl
I heard him chuckle “Wanna eat somewhere together?” He asked
“Sure thing!” I happily accepted his offer
“Tae!” Yesung shouted “I’m gonna take Yuri out to eat something” He told her
“Flirting already Yesung” I heard Taeyeon reply with her dorky laugh
“Come on, let’s go” He ignored his cousin’s comment, we walked together to the food court inside the mall “So what do you want to eat?” He asked me
“I don’t mind, anything” I replied to him politely
“Okay then” He smiled “I’ll buy us food and you can find us a seat” He organized
“Okay” I walked off, trying to find a table for 2…it was hard to find, since it was lunch time and that’s when the food court usually gets crowded, then I finally found a seat ^^ I waited for a while for Yesung to come back, and he finally did
“Sorry it took me so long” He apologized “The line was massive!” He sighed, putting the food on the table
“Thank you” I smiled to him, as I ate a chip
“So how do you know Taeyeon?” He asked me, I started to think for a while
“Ummm, I think it was at the last year of uni” I remembered, he nodded
We continued to talk happily, after that lunch we were so close, like as if we have been friends forever or something Jthen about 1 or 2 later, he asked me out and I swear I was the luckiest and happiest girl ever!!
“Was Yesung handsome back then?” the kids asked
“I’ve always been handsome” Yesung praised himself, with a proud smirk
“So Yesung, today is an important day huh?” I asked him, seeing if he would remember
He started to think for a while “Is it?” He asked me
I pouted in sadness, I was so disappointed that he forgot, if we weren’t at the day care right now, I would be so angry with him ):<
“Are you two going to live happily ever after?” The girls asked in dream land
“Of course” Yesung smiled to all the kids… pfft! He can’t even remember our anniversary!!! “One second” He told me, and he walked into a different room, so no one could see him
-Yesung’s POV-
Aww! My Yuri looks so sad keke, I can’t believe she would think I forgot our anniversary :O I walked into a different room in the day care and took out my ring, I wanted to propose to her differently…I looked around the room, my eyes were caught on the balloons “A Balloon proposal!” I told myself! I grabbed one of the balloons and tied up the ring on the end of the string ^^ Then I grabbed all the balloons, I was holding them all together
“Here you go kids” I said, while coming out of the room, showing them the balloons, all the kids started to rush over to me, I gave them all balloons each, until there was one left, Yuri came up to me and smiled, I held the string around half way, so the ring was visible to her “Happy anniversary” I said, her expression changed in a second to joy “Will you marry me, Kwon Yuri?” I asked, smiling happily
“YES! YES! YES!” She screamed in joy, hugging me straight away “I thought you forgot” She said, sounding a bit teary
“I could never forget! I was just teasing you” I chuckled, I felt her hand slap my arm
I put the ring on her finger, with the balloon still tied on it “Your mine now” I told her
“I was always yours” She told me, wiping away her tears of joy “And I love the ring!” She added
“YOU HAVE TO KISS NOW!!” All the kids were saying “KISS KISS KISS KISS” They were chanting, at the same time
“This is like a fairy tale” The girls squealed “I hope I find my prince one day” the girls hopped, which was so cute!
Yuri put her arms around my neck, I leaned closer to her, planting a kiss on her, we could hear the kids cheering happily, the kiss only lasted about 4 seconds until she backed off
“So I guess our fairy tale is complete now?” Yuri giggled, cutely
“We’ll we still need a huge wedding ceremony” I winked to her cheekily
“Then I guess we should start planning it” She told me, I nodded
