Visiting The Bickering Couple

~ Just Another MoneyBoy ~

The next day was very calm. The sun was shining outside on a great spring day, and it was rather hot, too. The storm from the night before had finally disappeared completely, which meant that people didn’t have a reason to stay indoor – neither did Jongin. It was Sunday, and he usually paid visits to one of his best friends on that day, Chanyeol. Chanyeol was the only person who knew, that Jongin had been seeing Taemin, since he was the one who presented them for each other five years ago. Chanyeol knew the moneyboy, too, but had stopped seeing him long ago, since he got into a relationship with Byun Baekhyun, a charming, slim guy, who had taken his heart.

“Whoa, Kai!” Chanyeol exclaimed as he opened the door to his house, and was met with the face of one of his best friends, looking at him with a warm smile. Kai was Jongin’s nickname, which him and his closest friends had made up when they were drunk one night. Chanyeol looked like someone, who had just woken up, even though it was around midday at that time – but Chanyeol’s hair was completely messed up, as if he had had a nice night before.

“Hey, mind taking a beer with me or something?” Jongin asked, showing the two beers in his hands, smirking slightly at his friend. However, Chanyeol returned the smile with a small frown on his face – he had completely forgotten what day it was! And he felt very sorry, too, because Jongin did live quite far away from him, and now he had taken that long trip to see him.

“Aish, Jongin, it’s a really bad timing right now,” the older friend apologized, bowing a single time for the younger, “I had Baekhyun over last night, and he’s still sleeping in my bed, you see…”

For some reason, Jongin’s cheeks turned slightly pink at Chanyeol’s words, even though it was Chanyeol who had the biggest reason to actually feel embarrassed.

“I just wanted to talk to you about someone, just quick. We can talk outside, it’s hot today?” Jongin suggested, and Chanyeol couldn’t help but laugh softly at his friend. Jongin was right, though. The weather was nice – and he had brought some beer, too!

“Arrasou! You won,” Chanyeol laughed before he closed the door to the house, and went outside with Jongin – going into their small garden in front of their villa. Chanyeol was very well-off, just like Jongin. He had his own house – his own villa. He normally didn’t share it with Baekhyun, he was just sleeping over sometimes, even though they did have some plans about moving in together soon. The couple was a little special, though. One day they could be very lovey-dovey and all, but the next day they could be fighting, because Chanyeol had said something to Baekhyun, which he shouldn’t have said.

Usually something about Baekhyun using too much eyeliner or something, Jongin never really got the point of it.

“So, how are things going with Krystal?” Chanyeol asked once the two of them had settled down in their garden, enjoying the nice weather for once. The elder took a small sip of his cold beer, even though he probably shouldn’t be drinking at such a time of the day.

“Well… It’s not exactly her I wanted to talk about… But I guess things are going okay?” Jongin shrugged, looking a little bit away from his friend while he bit his lower lip, “It’s… About Taemin.”

Chanyeol nearly choke on his beer, not a very pleasant feeling. He then turned to stare at Jongin with surprised eyes, “You’re still seeing him?!” he exclaimed, but Jongin quickly hushed on him, trying to make him lower his voice a little bit.

“W-Well, yeah?” Jongin stuttered slightly, feeling a little bit uneasy at his friend’s reaction.

“For Christ’s sake, Kai! You have a beautiful girlfriend now, you don’t need his anymore!” Chanyeol sighed deeply, facepalming himself.

“I-I know… I’ll cut the connection to him, soon… I promise,” Jongin murmured, looking a little bit down. He knew, that was he was doing was wrong. Chanyeol was right, he did have a beautiful girlfriend now, and he didn’t need Taemin’s anymore.

“I don’t get why you keep him around. It’s not like he’ll be sad when you leave anyway,” Chanyeol shrugged, taking another sip of his cold beer. His words quickly caught Jongin’s attention, though.

“… He wont?” Jongin asked.

“Nope. I wouldn’t count on it,” Chanyeol sighed and looked at his good friend, “You’re just another customer, just like he’s just another moneyboy.”

“You mean just another , right?” Jongin rolled his eyes a bit at Chanyeol’s way at talking about the .

“You could put it like that, too, but I believe he’s a little different from other ‘s’, friend,” Chanyeol laughed lightly, finishing his beer in one go, “But nonetheless, I still think you should cut the connection. Nothing good will come from it.”

“Aish! I know!” Jongin groaned, “But how can you tell, that he wont be sad when I leave him? I mean, look at me? I’m good looking, wealthy, and my is the best!”

“Oh, you think you’re the only wealthy, good looking costumer he has?” Chanyeol couldn’t help but laugh at his friend’s self-confidence.

“Well, yeah? All the people I’ve seen at his place are old, ugly men?”

“Oh, he does have some quite good-looking customers, though. Trust me,” Chanyeol smirked, “He’s more expensive than other so it’s not like it’s anyone who can visit him.”

Jongin knew that Taemin was quite expensive, though. He had heard, that normal usually only took about half of what Taemin took per hour. He didn’t mind, though, because the price was still pocket money to Jongin, even though Krystal had questioned him about where some of his money went, from time to time.

Chanyeol was right. It was getting suspicious, and nothing good would come from it in the end.

“Yeollie?” a sleepy voice mumbled quietly as the door to the house opened, and a sleepy, half Baekhyun stepped out of the house. His hair was messy, and his eyeliner from the day before was stuck a few millimeters under his eyes, which he was rubbing sleepily.

“Baekkie,” Chanyeol smiled warmly as he walked to his slimmer boyfriend and wrapped him up in his arms, “Did you sleep well, baby?”

“Mmh… I’m still sleepy, and my hurts,” Baekhyun groaned slightly. His answer made Jongin choke on his beer, coughing as some of it got stuck in his throat. Those words were something he didn’t have the need to actually overhear, but he was sure that Baekhyun didn’t care about that.

“S-So, I think I’ll get going,” Jongin stuttered slightly as he rubbed the back of his neck, “Nice seeing you, Baekhyun. Chanyeol said he would like to have some bacon for breakfast,” he added before he sent a small smirk to Chanyeol, who immediately blushed like some tomato.

“Eh? Bacon?” Baekhyun asked, glaring at Chanyeol, “What did you guys talk about exactly?”

“N-Nothing, honey…”

“As if I would believe that.”

Jongin left their garden with a smirk on his lips, listening to how the couple was bickering already. He had often heard Chanyeol laugh at the fact that Baekhyun almost sounded like “Bacon”, Baekhyun being the only person who couldn’t see the fun part in it. Jongin had always thought that it was really fun to tease the couple. They would get into a small fight over nothing, but they would always become good friends again in a few minutes, because of their huge love for each other. That was actually something that made him slightly jealous, because he and Krystal weren’t like that. When they got into a fight, Krystal would be upset with him, until he bought something expensive for her, like a diamond necklace, or a dress from Gucci – and she would expect bigger and bigger presents for each time.

Maybe Jongin was quite selfish, and he thought that he was, at some point, God’s gift to women in the world… But some part of him just really wanted, to have someone, who wouldn’t get mad over nothing, and someone who would just hug him, and then all their fights would disappear.

Someone, who would just love him and wouldn’t expect anything but his love in return.

“Aish… I should probably do as Chanyeol says,” Jongin mumbled to himself while he found his way to his car, parked outside of Chanyeol’s house. He didn’t like the thought of “breaking up” with Taemin, even if Chanyeol said that Taemin wouldn’t miss him at all.

But when Chanyeol had said, that Taemin had other good-looking customers, something rose inside of Jongin.

Was it disbelief?

Or just pure jealousy…
