Silent Love
Description
He screamed out for his parents lives as they were killed in front of his very own eyes. The murderer’s gaze darkened when he finished killing them and was slowly walking towards the very frightened child that was pressing himself hardly against the closet. The other chuckled and gripped on his gun.
“You know, you’re going to join your parents very soon so don’t cry.” He cooed as he held the child’s face that was shaking in fright.
As the gun was positioned in front of the child’s forehead, the child closed his eyes shut and waited for the blow. Suddenly, he heard sirens and the murderer cursed as he let go of the boy and threw his gun away, deciding to run away first. He glared hardly at the kid before doing so and said.
“I’ll come pick you up when you’re older. Be prepared to die by then.”
He said and disappeared in the dark. The child then diverted his eyes to the sight of his parents and crawled towards them. He then wrapped his hands around his neck and screamed again because he had failed to protect his parents even though he had promised his own mother. As the police heard the ear piercing scream, they knocked down the house’s door and ran towards the source of the voice.
When they saw him, they quickly pulled the boy’s hand from his neck and separated him from his parent’s body “Where’s the killer?! Search the house!” The head police yelled out and his underlings obeyed him. A woman officer calmly squatted in front of the toddler and wrapped him with a blanket even though his shirt was drenched with blood.
She then hugged the scared boy as she brought him away from the dead bodies. “Can you tell me where he went?” She asked and tears started pouring out of the boy’s eyes and he shook his head as he still didn’t recover from the shock. The officer patted his back and when the boy had calmed down a bit, he pointed his finger towards the forest.
The officer shouted instructions to other policemen and they quickly entered the forest armed with their own guns. “Did you see the person that killed your parent’s?” The boy nodded. “We’ll need to take you under our protection until we found him then. Can you talk though?” He opened his mouth and tried to speak and that was when he realized that he had gone mute.
He gasped and tried again to speak yet his voice didn’t come out. It was confirmed, he had lost his voice. Forever.
Foreword
“Donghae, I’ll need you to be a bodyguard for this person.” His head officer said and the said name lifted his eyebrows in confusion. “But I’m a police?” The other nodded. “This person had seen the face of the person who had killed his parents and we’re suspecting that he will come and kill that person if he has the chance.” The young police nodded.
“By the way, have you ever heard a disease named Lynne?” Donghae shook his head. “Well, Lynne is an unrecognized disease in psychological terms where the person will hold their hands around their throats and scream to the point of losing their voice because they are screaming for the thing that they can either no longer have or no longer reach.”
The young police nodded in understanding. “So what you’re trying to say is that, that person is mute?” The head police nodded. “He doesn’t learn hand language so you will have to communicate with him through his writing. But don’t worry, he can hear well so you don’t have to write.” Donghae nodded.
“But one thing though, he gets scared of new people easily so you will have to be very gentle with him in order to get close and comfortable with him. Please control your temper, he might cry if you vent out on him. I accidentally did it once and I swear he wouldn’t stop crying until he slept out of tiredness.” The young police gulped but nodded anyway. His bad temper is really hard to control but he’ll try.

Heeey it's been a while right? Now that school is ending in 2 weeks, I have a bit of free time. (I'm supposed to be studying maths someone teach me /sobs/) I think I'll update this next week but if I finish writing the first chapter then I'll update asap. What do you think of the plot though?
