Description
An actor who became a single parent after his wife died found himself overworking and setting her daughter aside. His wife death had caused such a shock that he couldn’t stare at his daughter’s face for at least 5 seconds because of their resemblance and would always ended up letting his frustration out by drinking.
Lauren would try to start a conversation with his father but would always get cut off by her father with his cold and cruel words. She became depressed and tried to found someone to lean on and that’s when she became close to her kind-hearted and beautiful teacher , Lee Hyukjae. The teacher had noticed the frown on his student’s face and would ask her if anything was wrong and that was when he discovered who Lauren father is.

Foreword
“Dad-”
“Go to sleep Lauren , it’s already 10 pm.”
“Stop drinking.”
The father glared at his daughter before sighing and leaning against his lazy chair. “I’ll do whatever I like. There’s no reason for me to live anymore.”
“But dad-!”
“Go to sleep!”
Glaring teary-eyed at his father , Lauren ran upstairs to her room and slammed it shut. She clutched her shirt and cried silently. Her father still had her! He still have a reason to live right? What kind of parent would abandon their own child?
“Lauren-ah , do you hear me?” A hand waved in front of the girl’s eyes and she quickly snapped out of her daydream to see her teacher staring at her worriedly. “Are you sick , Lauren?” She shook her head and the teacher got even more confused. Suddenly , she pulled the teacher to her height and hid herself on his chest , crying out loud.
“You can tell me anything if it makes you feel better.” Hyukjae cooed as he patted the girl’s back. Other kids just stared at the scene weirdly and the teacher made a sign for them to go out for their PE lesson. They nodded understanding and went out of their class in confusion but didn’t questioned anything.
