Minho and Krystal walked silently beside each other back to her house. Minho offered to walk her because he knew it'll be a distance and he really wanted time to pass slowly as he was spending it with her. They walked with an awkward distance beside each other, especially after the movie.
"I was just wondering. . ." Krystal was the first to speak up.
"Yes?" Minho turned to look at her staring at the ground as she walked.
"I've never seen you around girls. Besides me, of course."
"What if I said that I'm not a ladies' man?" He smiled playfully at her. She shoved him.
"Please, anybody would be stupid if they believed you." She shook her head with a small smile etched on her lips.
"I really am not! If I was, I wouldn't be hanging out with you right now." Krystal frowned. Does that mean that he would rather be with prettier girls? Not a surprise, she thought. Minho realized her frowning and quickly added, "No! Not like that! I was just saying that I wouldn't get to know you if I had girls around me."
"So I'm not worth being your friend then? If you had girls at your beck and call?" Krystal asked, eyes teary.
"No, no! Krystal, listen to me. If I had girls everywhere, I wouldn't have met such a friend like you. I would be surrounded by all those clingy girls who just want something from me. I'm just saying that I'm lucky to have met you, okay?" Minho used his thumb to wipe off a stranded
