Tears streamed down Yeonhee's face as she faced the very tall, handsome kingka at Hallyustar High. He was the most popular and well respected sunbae in their school while she was merely your average girl next door.

Unless you want the masses of his fan girls to murder you in broad daylight, you wouldn't dare approach him if you weren't part of the popular group. 

His name was Lee Jongsuk and to Yeonhee, he was practically untouchable.

She wiped her tears away with the back of her hand and turned to walk away. "How silly of me to believe you."

As she headed back towards the school doors, Jongsuk softly yet desperately grabbed her wrist and turned her back, slamming her into his chest.

His arms found its way around her tiny waist and hugged her tightly, leaning down to lightly settle his chin on her head.

"I'm sorry. I did mean it. I meant every word. I was excited to see you last year. And I was beyond ecstatic when I saw you walk in the school gates for your first ever day in high school.

I tried to approach you. I truly did. But those annoying group of girls never let me.

I realise now that I shouldn't have let their opinions get to me. Because they don't matter to me. None of them do.”

He let out a shaky sigh and gingerly lifted Yeonhee’s head so that he was looking her straight in the eyes, trying to show her his real feelings through his own. “The popularity, the girls - they don't matter to me. Because only you do. You're the only one I care for."

And with that he leaned down to give her a simple, sincere kiss on the lips. A kiss he has been waiting to give her ever since he could remember.
