“Hyesung-ah … come here quickly …”

Suddenly Eric barged into his apartment, still in his office attire while he was cooking some ramen for dinner after he had just got back

home from the university. The sudden arrival of Eric made him feel puzzled since they had not arranged to meet today and Eric had not

at least called or texted him in advance.

Eric looked so excited and restless, throwing his jacket onto the sofa without caring where it landed. And he walked into the kitchen in

big steps before dragging him from in front of the stove to one of the chairs at the dining table to make him sit.

“What’s wrong, Eric-ah? Why are you that excited?”

Without replying his question, his boyfriend just flashed his trademark wide grin before putting one of his hands into his pant pocket

and fishing something out. There, a small black velvet box appeared in his sight in the next moment and still in daze, he was forced to

take that from Eric’s hand and open it slowly, finding two simple yet neat silver rings, each decorated with a single tiny crystal of

diamond embedded in the middle of the band. Seeing the two sparkling things in front of him, he just lost all the words in his mind to

say something back to Eric.

“You like them? They’re fine, right? Hyesung-ah … say something … don’t you like them? Should I change them with something else?”

Only hearing the worried voice of Eric, his logical mind kicked back in and he shook his head strongly at once before landing a soft peck

on his boyfriend’s cheek.

“Nah … I like them … NO … I love them … Eric-ah … I love them … Simple but elegant … That’ll be the best for us … cause we’re both

guys …”

Seeing the rings and feeling like he is on the cloud nine at the same time, he almost stuttered, rushing his words to assure his fondness

on these little presents from Eric.

“Ah … Glad that you love them …”

With the relief and the happiness mixed in his voice, Eric put his own hand over his which was holding the little box containing rings and

gave a soft squeeze to it. Smiling back at his boyfriend, he shifted his look back to the small glittering bands embedded in the soft black

velvet. Then, when his mind got calm again, a question popped up in his head at once.

“But … Why with these rings suddenly? You didn’t tell me anything about them …. As much as I recall … Why so suddenly?”

Eric just chuckled hearing his question and he did not give back his answer until he finished giving a quick peck to his lips.

“You know what? I just bumped into an ad of a jewelry shop online … and got what I had forgotten to do all this time … Couple rings!

How come we both forgot about them! And I want to give you a little surprise so … I straightly visited a jewelry store on my way … and

you know? It’s too confusing to choose something decent for both of us … and I had to guess your finger size too … Hope it would fit

…”    

Saying those words, at the same time, Eric pulled out one of the rings from the box to put it on his ring finger. To their delight, the

ring fitted into place, wrapping around his finger perfectly. He instinctively raised his hand to have a good look under the light and

seeing the shining metal band around his slender finger, a smile automatically crept onto his face.

“This is beautiful …”

His stunned expression with soft murmur created a smile on Eric’s face too and then he waved his hand over his face signaling to do the

same to his finger. Cracking a chuckle, he pulled out the other ring before sliding it into Eric’s left ring finger. Then, Eric placed his

own hand beside his; the sight of two identical rings being on their fingers did not fail to warm his heart. Before that, he even thought

the couple ring thingy was just a cheesy act but once he experienced it himself, he realized how it felt to know he and the one he loved

were sharing the same pair of rings. It was kind of a silent agreement of being each other’s.

 He was Eric’s. Eric was his.

That must be the feeling of wearing couple rings indeed.

Drifting in his thoughts, he had not realized he was already in Eric’s embrace, feeling the heat emitted from the other.

“Thank you for staying with me … Shin Hyesung …”

He could feel Eric’s smile although he did not see his face because he himself was also smiling after hearing Eric’s words.

“You are so cheesy … you know?”

Despite of his teasing remark, Eric just tightened his arms around him more, nearly crashing his body onto his bigger structure.

“Yah! It hurts … and go and wash quickly … You are smelly already …”

His mumbles did not bother the other obviously when he heard Eric’s low chuckle and felt his arms getting tighter than before.

“Tell me … I’m y with that sweaty manly scent, right? That’s why you’re telling me to wash … because you’re afraid if you’re gonna

jump on me soon …”

He hit the other’s back continuously but still Eric did not have any plan to release him soon.

“YAH! You’re being crazy again, huh? Release me!”

“Don’t worry … Syung-ah … I won’t let you sleep this night … It’s Friday … TGIF, baby!”

“Who told you that I’ll let you do as you like? Seriously … release me … Eric-ah …”

After his words, Eric pulled him away from his body and flashed a naughty smirk that he always hated.

“You forgot I’m a bully? Have you heard a bully does things to his victim with his consent? No .. Baby … No … Sorry! I’ll do this in my

own way …”

At the end of his words, he teasingly landed a short yet forceful kiss to his lips, making him mad and blushed at the same time. Despite

of how many times they had slept together, he was still being blushed and hot when it came to ‘this’. And he knew that was why Eric

found so much fun in teasing him on that matter.

“Mun Jung Hyuk! You devil!”

He tried to put on his best frustrated face but at the next second, he realized it did not work on Eric since he had already been lifted

from sitting on the chair in one swept to be carried in bridal style by his boyfriend. And while he was still in daze, Eric whispered into his

ear after pecking on his nose.

“I’ll forever be the bully …. only to you …”

“I really hate you …. Mun Jung Hyuk”

Then, his counter attack earned only a loud voice of Eric’s laugh and a sound of his bedroom door banging.

“I love you too … Sesame …”

All the next actions after that were in hectic and they even skipped the dinner. Well, unless they regarded each other as ‘dinner’.

Although he was hesitant at first, Eric was so persistent that they ended up going further than the usual, consuming their TGIF at its

best. After the third round, both of them were nearly on the verge of passing out, especially him. Feeling all the energy in his body

draining out and thinking he will surely have a trouble in walking even till Monday, he just could not open his eyes back even after many

minutes beyond his .

Although he felt Eric cleaning him with a towel and later, being pulled into the other’s broad chest, his eyes still refused to open due to

over exhaustion. Like understanding his situation, Eric did not say anything except caressing the locks of his sweaty hair.

“You forgot something …”

He mumbled and Eric did not miss it at all even though it was so soft to hear.

“What? Sung-ah? What are you saying?”

“You forgot something … Don’t you know?”

Still his eyes being closed, he mumbled again and then felt Eric pulling him away to give a proper look at his face.

“What is it? When? What did I forget?”

Sensing Eric’s voice getting mixed with panic, his lips curved upwards a little before teasing him again.

“Think again … I thought you’re a gentleman … but now I guess not …”

Silence came suddenly and he opened only one of his eyes just a little to steal a peep of Eric’s confused face. As he had expected, Eric’s

face was like a lost puppy, showing how much he was being confused on his words and how hard he was trying to recall what he had

missed. He could not help but chuckled in amused tone before placing a soft hit on the other’s shoulder.

“Babo-yah … Don’t you think you should say something when you put this ring on my finger? You just put it on like that … No sense at

all …”

Hearing his hint and looking at his pouting face, at first Eric was still being blank and only after a few seconds, a grin slowly appeared

on his handsome face. Eric gave a soft nip on the tip of his nose before pulling his body closer to his.

“Oh! You’re waiting for that? I’m sorry baby … I thought there’s no need to say it out loud since … since we both know we’ve already

been way over that … haven’t we?”

Although he gave a quick nod on Eric’s words, he also kept his longing stare right through the other’s eyes, showing he was still waiting

for that ‘something’. Fortunately, Eric seemed to get his signal and let out a light chuckle before giving a short yet sweet touch on his

lips with his own addictive ones.

“Ok … So … I’ll do it in my own version … Listen carefully … Sesame …”

Nodding enthusiastically, he kept on staring at his boyfriends’s sincere expression and a warm and excited feeling crept into his heart.

“Shin Hyesung … Do you want to stay by my side forever … as my lovely victim?”

Without himself knowing, he smiled so genuinely and widely that he thought he might even look like an idiot in Eric’s eyes.

Lovely victim? Yes. His boyfriend had a sense afterall …

“Yes … Mun Jung Hyuk … I do … I sincerely do …”

To prove his satisfied and happy heart, he stretched his neck to reach Eric’s lips, creating a kiss that could show all of his thankfulness

to Eric for being with him all these times. And his ultimate happiness too, of course.

“Thank you for staying with me too … Eric … and … I love you too … Be my bully forever …”
