Chapter 3
Be The LightRecap from last chapter: I replaced my art binder with my math and science binder putting those into my backpack. I shut my locker and checked to make sure it was secure and walked home. Once I got home I took a shower, heated up the dinner, did homework, and went to sleep ready for the next day.
I woke up the next day at 5:30 am like usual and did my morning routine like always. I grabbed my backpack by my desk and checked my make up before I went downstairs. "Hey mom--" she wasn't in the kitchen when I entered. I sighed and saw a sticky note on a foil wrapped plate. It read:
"Honey I had to work a few more hours so I went in early this morning. I made you breakfast before I went!~
Love you sweetie <3 XOXO"
I smiled a little but then frowned after reading the note seeing how hard my mom worked just to make ends meet. I unwrapped the foil and went to the drawer with chopsticks, forks, spoons, and knifes. I took out a pair of metal chopsticks then shut the drawer with my hip. I walked back to the table and ate the food my mom prepared. I took my phone out of my blazer pocket and checked my social media networks as I ate some rice. My eyes widened when I checked the time. "Oh my gosh!!!! I'm gonna be late!!!" I scarfed down some more food, shoved my phone into my blazer pocket, ran to the front door, and slipped on my shoes quickly. "Why won't my shoe slide on?!" I pulled the back of the shoe one more time and finally got it to cooperate with me. I huffed a big sigh blowing my fringe away from my face and opened the door with difficulty then ran all the way to school.
-At School-
When I got to school the gates closed. "NO!" I banged on the metal poles that kept me outside of the school. I saw the young janitor, supposedly 24 years old, named Jun walk by. "Jun sshi!" I called out. He turned his head to me.
"Oh _____ sshi?" He questioningly said, "Were you late again?" he said as he came up to the bars and took out his keys unlocking the gate for me, pulling open the gate.
"Thank you so much!" I hugged him which he returned the hug, "I owe you one!" I pulled back from the hug and said with a smile.
"Don't you always?" He said jokingly.
"Thanks again Jun sshi!" I exclaimed happily as I ran to my locker before going to my first period.
-In my class-
I gladly made it in time for class before the teacher got here. I took out my utencils, notebooks, and textbooks out of my backpack. I set them nicely on my tiny desk. When I bent down to set my binder beside the leg inside my desk, I felt eyes bore into. I lifted my head and saw no one looking at me. "That's so weird I swear I felt someone looking at me..." I shrugged it off and sat up after I placed my binder down. The teacher walked in and started the lesson. "Okay class today we will be le
